Ford Ranger led the best-selling car list in the first quarter of 2024 with sales of up to 3,562 vehicles. Meanwhile, although leading the market in January and March, it was not enough for Mitsubishi Xpander to take the No. 1 position with sales of 3,508 vehicles. Another Ford model, the Everest, also ranked sixth with sales reaching 2,035 vehicles.

The Mazda CX-5 was the best-selling crossover model in the first quarter of 2024 with 2,319 vehicles. Meanwhile, Honda City is still behind Hyundai Accent in the list of best-selling cars in the first quarter. Toyota Vios is out of breath compared to its two rivals when it only ranks 9th and is the only Toyota model in the list of best-selling cars. Surprisingly, the 10th position is Suzuki XL7 with sales of 1,346 vehicles.

In the first quarter of 2024, the total sales of the automobile market reached 58,165 units, down 17% compared to the same period in 2023. In addition, the total number of Hyundai cars sold in the market reached 10,144 units, down 31.1% compared to the same period in the first quarter of 2023. Sales of the Vietnamese automobile market in the first quarter showed that consumer trends are still high-chassis vehicles with only 3 products being low-chassis. Japanese cars still dominate the market with 6 models, while Korean cars are 2 models and American cars are 2 models.
