2024 Haval Raptor: Upgraded Design and Performance for Off-Road Adventures
In China, the 2024 Haval Raptor is available in four variants: the 102 Air, 102 Pro, 145 Pro, and 145 Chuanyue. This latest iteration adds two new exterior color options: Storm Yellow and Ink Jiangnan Gray.
The 2024 Haval Raptor retains its overall design from the previous model, with notable upgrades including:
Increased ground clearance of 221 mm (up from 200 mm)
Enhanced wading depth of 580 mm (up from 560 mm)
Improved approach and departure angles of 25 degrees and 32 degrees, respectively (up from 24 degrees and 30 degrees)
Standard 19-inch wheels wrapped in 225/60 R19 tires
The 2024 Haval Raptor measures 4,800 x 1,950 x 1,843 mm (L x W x H), making it 34 mm wider and 21 mm taller than the previous version. The wheelbase remains unchanged at 2,738 mm.
As an off-road vehicle, the Haval Raptor 2024 offers seven driving modes: Standard, Eco, Sport, Snow, Sand, Mud, and 4WD Lock.
The vehicle’s powertrain consists of Great Wall Motor’s Hi4 plug-in hybrid system with 4WD capability, featuring a 1.5L turbocharged engine and two electric motors, paired with a 2-speed DHT gearbox. The 1.5L turbocharged engine delivers a maximum power of 165 horsepower and 243 Nm of torque. The two electric motors produce maximum power outputs of 94 horsepower and 201 horsepower, respectively, along with maximum torques of 160 Nm and 350 Nm.
The 2024 Haval Raptor continues to feature lithium iron phosphate battery packs of 19.09 kWh and 27.54 kWh. With fast charging, the vehicle can charge its battery from 30-80% in 28 minutes.
The 102 Air and 102 Pro variants have a pure electric range of 102 km and can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6 seconds. Meanwhile, the 145 Pro and 145 Chuanyue versions offer a pure electric range of 145 km and accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6.2 seconds.
Inside, the cabin of the 2024 Haval Raptor remains largely unchanged, with the addition of a new black interior color option. The vehicle comes equipped with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.6-inch central display, a 9-inch HUD, and a circular steering wheel.
The top-spec 145 Pro and 145 Chuanyue trims feature a heated steering wheel, a 10-speaker sound system, anti-glare rearview mirrors, and an air quality monitoring system.
The vehicle’s configuration has also been upgraded to support L2+ advanced driver assistance functions, enabled by 11 standard sensors.
Additionally, the Raptor offers 44 storage compartments throughout its cabin and a standard trunk capacity of 586 liters.
