Aston Martin’s DB12 arrives in Vietnam with a striking presence, as evidenced by recent images circulating on social media depicting the vehicle at the British automaker’s service center in Hanoi, alongside Bentley and Ducati dealerships. The likelihood is that the import was handled by the official distributor.

This particular DB12 boasts an eye-catching green exterior complemented by 21-inch multi-spoke wheels. The car’s appearance is further enhanced by black accents, including those on the grille, front spoiler, rear bumper, roof, and mirror caps, which are all part of the manufacturer’s optional offerings.
According to Aston Martin’s official figures, the DB12 has a starting price of USD 248,000 (approximately VND 6.3 billion) in the United States market. Consequently, after accounting for taxes and duties in Vietnam, the price of this supercar could exceed VND 15 billion and potentially approach VND 20 billion with additional options. Within this price range, the DB12 will compete with other supercars such as the McLaren Artura, Lamborghini Huracan, and Ferrari 296.
The DB12 is the successor to the DB11, which debuted in 2023 to commemorate Aston Martin’s 110th anniversary. While retaining the DB11’s flowing design, the DB12 features a revised front end with a larger grille and air intakes reminiscent of the DBS. The headlights have also been updated, and the rear end remains largely unchanged, carrying over the taillight design from its predecessor.
The Aston Martin DB12’s interior marks a significant departure from the design of previous Aston Martin models. The dashboard has been simplified, adopting a sportier and more modern aesthetic. The infotainment system has been completely redesigned, featuring an operating system developed in-house by the automaker. The 10.25-inch touchscreen display supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Under the hood, the DB12 is powered by the familiar twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine from Mercedes, which has been tuned to produce 671 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. This represents a significant increase in output compared to the DB11, where the same engine generated 528 horsepower and 675 Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels through an 8-speed automatic gearbox, enabling the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 325 km/h.
As ardent admirers of Aston Martin, many speculate that the first DB12 to arrive in Vietnam will likely find its way into the collection of Mr. Đặng Lê Nguyên Vũ, who already owns several supercars from the British marque, including the DBX707, Vantage F1 Edition, DB11, Vantage Roadster, Vanquish, Vantage AMR, Vantage 007 Edition, and DB9 Volante.
