Let’s kick things off with the SUV duo, the S7 and P7. The latter is expected to debut in late 2024 and will be produced by the GAC Honda joint venture, while the S7, another SUV, will be launched by Dongfeng Honda this year.
Both electric SUVs share a nearly identical overall shape, featuring a rakish rear windshield and a thick D-pillar reminiscent of the China-only Avancier and UR-V.
Variations emerge in the details of their front and rear fascias, particularly in their headlights and taillights, which span the full width. However, the P7 employs C-shaped light graphics, while the S7 features X-shaped designs up front and another unique H-shaped motif at the back.
Other commonalities include flush-fitting door handles and side-view cameras. Unlike past Honda EVs, their charging ports are now located on the front fenders instead of the front fascia.
Inside, the P7 and S7 share a cabin layout similar to the e:N1, with a large, portrait-oriented touchscreen, a high-set digital instrument cluster, and a flat-bottomed steering wheel.

Other features include an AI-powered voice control system and ambient interior lighting. Powertrain details remain unknown, but the Japanese automaker has confirmed that the P7 and S7 will be offered with either rear- or all-wheel drive.
Meanwhile, the GT Concept previews a new sedan due out in late 2025. This sedan has a sportier design, featuring a front light design incorporating an X motif similar to the S7.
Inside, the GT Concept impresses with red accents, a unique steering wheel, and an abundance of screens, including one on the center console and another for the front passenger. Honda says this design aims to provide occupants with a “mobile theater” experience.
Honda says it plans to introduce six Ye models by 2027, and when combined with the e:NP1 and e:NS1 (the Chinese-market version of the e:N1), the company will have 10 EVs on sale in China by then. It’s unclear what the remaining two models will be, but Honda is aiming to become an EV-only brand in China by 2035.
