The 2025 Toyota Camry’s hybrid powertrain in the Chinese market is a combination of a 2.0L Dynamic Force inline-4 gasoline engine that makes 152 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 188 Nm of torque at 4,400 – 5,200 rpm, with an electric motor that produces 113 horsepower and 206 Nm of torque.

The AWD version adds a rear electric motor producing 41 horsepower and 84 Nm. The hybrid powertrain has a combined output of 194 horsepower, paired with an E-CVT automatic transmission and either front-wheel drive or AWD.

In terms of design, the 2025 Camry Chinese variant has slightly different exterior styling compared to the US-market Camry. Notably, the Chinese version features a different front fascia depending on the variant.

The hybrid variant on display at the 2024 Beijing Motor Show has a closed-off grille giving it the look of an electric sedan. The front corners house slimmer air intakes.

Moving to the rear, the Chinese Camry sports a sporty rear end, with reverse C-shaped taillights that mirror the shape of the headlights.

Inside, the cabin features a new three-spoke steering wheel, a digital instrument cluster, and a large central touchscreen. On higher trims, the digital instrument cluster and central display both measure 12.3 inches. Other cabin highlights include perforated leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a variety of other modern amenities.
