Cường “Đô-la” Sells His Ferrari SF90 Spider, Worth Over $50 Billion, at a Used Car Showroom

On the morning of April 29, 2024, social media buzzed with the news that Nguyen Quoc Cuong, also known as Cuong “Do-la,” had sold his most prized possession, the Ferrari SF90 Spider convertible, for over $50 billion.

The story originated from a post by a person who frequently purchases Cuong “Do-la’s” and Minh “Nhua’s” supercars, sharing an image of the Ferrari SF90 Spider parked alongside a Ferrari 296 GTB in front of his used car showroom.

Ferrari SF90 Spider Worth Over $50 Billion Owned by Cuong “Do-la” Unexpectedly Appears at a Used Car Showroom. What’s the Story?

After posting about the two hybrid supercars with less than 5,000 km on the odometer, with the Ferrari SF90 Spider convertible taking the spotlight, a representative from the showroom “clarified” that Cuong “Do-la’s” car was not for sale, as it was participating in the Gumball 3000 rally.

Cuong “Do-la’s” Ferrari SF90 Spider convertible features a green exterior and interior. Inside the cockpit, Dam Thu Trang’s husband requested a custom detail, replacing the CT logo (an abbreviation of Cuong – Trang, which is also the logo of the restaurant chain owned by the businessman and his wife) that was previously a decal with a Ferrari badge engraved with the company’s logo and the car model name.

Comparison with Previous Ferrari SF90 Stradale Models

Unlike the four Ferrari SF90 Stradale models that arrived in the country earlier, Cuong “Do-la’s” Ferrari SF90 Spider allows the roof to be opened or closed in approximately 14 seconds. Dam Thu Trang’s husband can also open the roof while driving, but at speeds below 50 km/h.

Technical Specifications

Dam Thu Trang and her husband’s Ferrari SF90 Spider is equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 engine with twin turbochargers, paired with three electric motors. It is the first commercial Ferrari convertible with a plug-in hybrid powertrain and is currently the Ferrari with the most powerful V8 engine in the world.

To achieve this, Ferrari engineers not only sourced 769 horsepower from the fuel engine but also added 217 horsepower from the electric motor. With the hybrid powertrain installed, the Ferrari SF90 Spider convertible achieves a maximum output of 986 horsepower. With this immense power, the Ferrari SF90 Spider convertible accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds.
