The Jetour Shanhai L7 impresses with a front end that is designed to resemble a pure electric vehicle. The LED daytime running lights are thin, the striking headlight clusters are positioned on either side of the front bumper, and the lower bumper has a black-trimmed air intake with chrome accents.
There is a slight difference in dimensions between the 5-seater and 7-seater versions. The 5-seater has a length of 4,760 mm, while the 7-seater has a length of 4,785 mm. This difference leads to a difference in the wheelbase of the two versions, which are 2,720 mm and 2,745 mm, respectively. The width and height are identical for both versions, measuring 1,900 mm and 1,720 mm, respectively.
At the rear, there is an LED light cluster that spans the entire width of the tailgate. Below the light cluster is the Jetour lettering and the C-DM badge.
C-DM stands for Chery’s Kunpeng plug-in hybrid system. The vehicle is powered by a 1.5T 4-cylinder engine that produces 154 horsepower and an electric motor. Currently, the detailed specifications of the electric motor and the capacity of the Gotion battery pack are not yet known. The vehicle has a top speed of 180 km/h.
The interior of the L7 on display at the exhibition had a white and blue color scheme. The cabin is modern, with a large dual-screen setup consisting of a digital instrument cluster and an infotainment screen that are joined together. Below the screens is the climate control system.
