The Chery Fulwin A8 Voyage Edition (formerly known as the Chery Fulwin A8 Pro) was unveiled in China on March 30, 2024, with three trim levels ranging in price from 109,900 yuan ($15,200) to 129,900 yuan ($17,950).
Compared to the previous Fulwin A8, the most noticeable change is the new closed-off grille, giving the car the appearance of an electric vehicle (EV). The dimensions of the car are 4,780 x 1,843 x 1,469 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,790 mm.
Inside, the cabin of the Chery Fulwin A8 Voyage Edition is largely similar to other Fulwin A8 variants. It features a dual 12.3-inch display setup for the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system, a panoramic sunroof, and heated and ventilated front seats. Apple CarPlay and Huawei HiCar connectivity are also available.
A key difference in the Fulwin A8 Voyage Edition is its larger 18.3 kWh battery pack, compared to the 14.2 kWh battery in other Fulwin A8 variants. As a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV), it employs Chery’s Kunpeng super hybrid C-DM system, which utilizes a fifth-generation Acteco 1.5TGDI hybrid engine producing 115 horsepower and 220 Nm of torque.
