On April 26, 2024, the Cam Lam – Vinh Hao Expressway was officially opened to traffic, enabling faster travel from Ho Chi Minh City to Khanh Hoa. As this coincided with the 30/4 and 1/5 national holidays, many people eagerly took the opportunity to experience this impressive expressway. Among them was supercar enthusiast Nguyen Quoc Cuong, also known as Cuong “Do-la.”

Instead of opting for a powerful convertible supercar like the Bentley Continental GT V8 or the Ferrari SF90 Spider, Cuong “Do-la” chose the Porsche 911 Sport Classic, a limited-edition sports car that boasts a manual transmission, a key feature for speed enthusiasts. He embarked on a journey to explore various expressways from Ho Chi Minh City to Nha Trang, with the Cam Lam – Vinh Hao Expressway being his top priority.

Cuong “Do-la” has expressed his intention to drive his Porsche 911 Sport Classic over 100,000 km before selling it, and his recent road trip appears to be part of this commitment. He drove from Ho Chi Minh City to Nha Trang, putting his sports car through its paces.

Cuong “Do-la’s Porsche 911 Sport Classic features a Sport Gray Metallic finish, a color chosen by approximately 85% of Porsche 911 Sport Classic buyers. The car is one of 1,250 limited-edition models produced globally, and only two have been imported into Vietnam. Its price tag is approximately 19.22 billion VND (excluding additional options). The car enthusiast chose the serial number 1202/1250 and the number 82 for his door, which represent his birthdate of 12/02/82.

The limited-edition Porsche 911 Sport Classic owned by Cuong “Do-la” is powered by a 3.8-liter, 6-cylinder engine with twin turbochargers, delivering a maximum output of 542 horsepower and peak torque of 600 Nm. The engine is paired with a 7-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive, enabling the sports car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 315 km/h.
