Honda Vietnam has recently announced a genuine promotion program for its car models in May 2024. In this program, the Honda City and HR-V models are both supported with a 50% reduction in the registration fee. In addition, the Honda City comes with a free 1-year body insurance policy.

The Honda City in Vietnam is currently available in 3 versions with prices ranging from 559 – 609 million VND. With the 50% discount on the registration fee, customers purchasing this B-segment sedan model can save between 28 – 30 million VND.

Meanwhile, the Honda HR-V also has 3 versions and prices range from 699 – 871 million VND. The registration fee discount for this B-size SUV will be equivalent to 35 – 43.5 million VND, depending on the version.

Honda Vietnam’s promotion program will be applied to customers who sign a car purchase contract and complete the 100% payment procedure from May 6 to May 31, 2024. In addition, the registration fee discount will be applied at a rate of 10%.

Honda City and HR-V genuine promotion program for May 2024

Since the beginning of 2024 to date, the Honda City and HR-V models have had quite good sales in the segment despite not having an advantage in price. In March 2024, the Honda City achieved sales of 1,043 units, ranking first in the B-segment sedan segment. Cumulative sales in the first 3 months of 2024 of this Japanese model reached 2,165 units, ranking second in the segment after Hyundai Accent (2,248 units).

Meanwhile, the Honda HR-V has sold 759 units in March 2024, ranking 2nd in the segment, behind only Mitsubishi Xforce (1,334 units). In the first 3 months of this year, the Honda member achieved sales of 1,842 units, the highest in the B-size SUV segment.

Both City and HR-V have the typical advantages of Honda cars such as youthful, impressive design, relatively spacious interior, and convenient equipment. In addition, these 2 models are also equipped with the standard Honda Sensing active safety system – something that not all competitors have.

Besides, Honda City and HR-V are also highly appreciated by many users in terms of driving feeling. The Honda City uses a 1.5L, DOHC, 4-cylinder i-VTEC petrol engine, producing a maximum capacity of 119 horsepower at 6,600 rpm and a maximum torque of 145 Nm at 4,300 rpm. The engine is paired with a CVT automatic transmission.

Meanwhile, the Honda HR-V in Vietnam currently has 2 engine options. The standard version uses a 4-cylinder, naturally aspirated, 1.5L petrol engine with a maximum capacity of 119 horsepower and a maximum torque of 145 Nm. Meanwhile, the remaining 2 versions are equipped with a 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine with corresponding power of 174 horsepower and 240 Nm.

With the genuine promotion program, the sales of Honda City and HR-V promise to continue to be maintained at a high level this May.
