Nissan Vietnam’s promotional program for May 2024
The Nissan Vietnam sales promotion will run from May 1 to May 31, 2024. The discounts are redeemable in cash.
Nissan Vietnam has not yet made public its sales statistics. However, because their pricing is still higher than that of some competitors in the same market segment, demand for Nissan models in Vietnam has not yet really taken off.
The fuel efficiency of Nissan automobiles offered in Vietnam is a key selling factor. The Nissan Kicks, in particular, features the e-Power hybrid powertrain, which is made up of an electric motor, a lithium-ion battery, an inverter, a gasoline engine, and a generator.
The Nissan Kicks e-Power’s electric motor can produce up to 136 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque. The gasoline engine is a 1.2L, three-cylinder, DOHC, 12-valve unit that produces 82 horsepower and 103 Nm of torque at its maximum. The gasoline engine does not power the vehicle directly; instead, it generates electricity to charge the battery while the electric motor handles the driving. This powertrain enables the Nissan Kicks e-Power to operate like an electric car without the need for external charging while using only 2.2 liters of gasoline per 100 kilometers in city driving.
The Nissan Almera comes equipped with a 1.0L three-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine that only uses 4.5 liters of gasoline per 100 kilometers on average. In 2022, this model was ranked among the top five most fuel-efficient automobiles sold in Vietnam.
Finally, the Nissan Navara is equipped with a 2.3L twin-turbocharged diesel engine that provides excellent fuel efficiency and towing capability. Additionally, it travels more smoothly and reduces the feeling of being jolted because to its use of a multi-link suspension system.
