Japanese automaker is ramping up the electrification of its lineup, and it’s preparing to launch a number of different electric vehicles. As part of this effort, Toyota has announced a plan to invest $1.4 billion into its Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana plant.

Toyota says the money will go toward producing a new, three-row, all-electric SUV at its Princeton, Indiana facility. The automaker didn’t go into specifics, but the money will be used to upgrade the factory’s infrastructure and add a new battery pack assembly line, which is set to come online in 2025.

While Toyota’s keeping things pretty close to the vest for now, the Japanese automaker did confirm this mysterious three-row crossover is “separate” from the three-row electric SUV it previously announced will be built in Kentucky. That particular model is expected to enter production next year, but the company hasn’t said when the Indiana-built SUV will hit the assembly line.

Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana currently builds the Highlander, Grand Highlander, and Sienna, as well as the Lexus TX.
