Although it hasn’t been officially launched in Vietnam yet, the pricing of the Kia Seltos has been confirmed by multiple dealerships. When contacted, a Kia dealership in Ho Chi Minh City revealed that the SUV will be offered in four trim levels: 1.5 AT, 1.5 Luxury, 1.5 Premium, and 1.5 GT-line.

“Customers can now place a deposit of VND 5-10 million for the 2024 Kia Seltos. The vehicle is locally assembled and is set to be launched this summer,” confirmed a dealership representative.

While the pricing for the GT-Line trim is yet to be announced, the other three variants are priced between VND 599-739 million, according to the dealership. The source also confirmed that early birds who place their orders now will receive their vehicles as early as April.

Similar to the Indian version, the 2024 Kia Seltos in Vietnam boasts several enhancements, including a redesigned LED daytime running light signature and L-shaped taillights. The dealership representative also confirmed that the new Seltos features an electronic parking brake, replacing the traditional handbrake.

In terms of infotainment, the Seltos now supports wireless Apple CarPlay, but this feature is exclusive to the 1.5 Luxury, 1.5 Premium, and 1.5 GT-line trims. The two higher-end variants, Premium and GT-Line, also come equipped with a full suite of ADAS safety features and a head-up display (HUD).

Under the hood, the 1.5 GT-Line is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, while the other three trims make do with a naturally aspirated 1.5-liter engine, similar to the Kia Sonet.

With a price tag of under VND 600 million, the 2024 Kia Seltos is expected to be the most affordable SUV in its segment, undercutting rivals such as the Hyundai Creta (VND 599-699 million), Mitsubishi Xforce (VND 620-699 million), and Toyota Yaris Cross (VND 650-765 million).
