Cristiano Ronaldo, the renowned football star, was recently spotted behind the wheel of the luxurious Ferrari Daytona SP3 during his visit to his family on March 26th. The supercar is the latest addition to his impressive car collection, which is valued at over £18 million.
The Daytona SP3 chosen by Ronaldo is part of Ferrari’s exclusive Icona collection, which includes two other hypercars, the Monza SP1 and SP2. With a starting price of $2.3 million, the SP3 is a tribute to Ferrari’s 1-2-3 victory in the 1967 24 Hours of Daytona race. While it was unveiled in late 2021, deliveries to the first lucky customers only began in late 2023.

Under the hood, the Ferrari Daytona SP3 boasts a 6.5L naturally aspirated V12 engine, known as the F140HC, derived from the 812 Competizione. Despite lacking a hybrid system like the LaFerrari, this powerhouse still delivers an impressive 829 horsepower and 697 Nm of torque.
The power is sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed F1 dual-clutch gearbox, aided by a limited-slip differential for quicker shifts. This setup propels the Daytona SP3 from 0-100 km/h in 2.85 seconds and 0-200 km/h in 7.4 seconds, reaching a top speed of 340 km/h.
Similar to other Icona models, the Daytona SP3 is a limited-edition hypercar, with only 599 units produced globally. Out of these, 499 were reserved for owners of the SP1 and SP2, while the remaining 100 spots were carefully selected by Ferrari.
