Ms. Hoang Oanh from Ho Chi Minh City shared that she recently spent over VND 50 million to rent a Rolls-Royce as the bridal car for her wedding last year. Explaining this expense, the bride mentioned that a wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event, so she and her husband wanted everything to be perfect. Renting a luxury car for the occasion also elevated their wedding photos.
“A Wedding Day Deserves a Luxury Car”
Ms. Oanh rented the Rolls-Royce from a showroom in Hanoi that specializes in this service. Although it was an older model, the interior and design were still in good condition for photos and transportation. The rental cost was VND 40 million for 4 hours, but they ended up paying an additional VND 10 million due to a delay in returning the car.
“I never had the chance to ride in a Rolls-Royce, so my husband and I decided to rent one for our wedding day. Luxury cars also look more elegant in photos, so we wanted to take advantage of that for our wedding album. Now that both families are financially comfortable, having a luxury car on our wedding day was a matter of pride,” added Ms. Oanh.
Previously, Mr. Tran Anh Duc from Hanoi, the manager of a showroom specializing in renting luxury and tourist cars, shared that the demand for supercars for weddings has increased significantly since the end of 2022.

According to Mr. Duc, in the past, their business model targeted foreign companies and corporations that needed transportation for their executives or promotional events (roadshows). However, in recent years, they have seen a significant increase in demand from individual customers for wedding rentals.
“As people’s living standards improve, the demand for premium products on special occasions also rises. More and more customers are coming to our showroom to rent cars for their wedding photos and decorations. During peak wedding seasons, our store is always bustling with customers,” Mr. Duc added.
When contacting a luxury and supercar rental service in Hanoi, the staff shared that in addition to popular models often chosen by individual customers, such as the Mercedes-Benz GLS and BMW, with rental rates ranging from VND 2-10 million, they also offer supercar options like the Lamborghini Huracan, Gallardo, and Maserati.
The consultant also shared that customer preferences for wedding car rentals have evolved over the years. While the Lincoln Limousine and Mercedes-Benz GLC in black or white used to be the go-to choices for well-off families due to their elegant appearance, nowadays, supercars and sports cars with bolder designs and brighter colors are gaining popularity among younger customers.
“A few years ago, if a family rented a car for wedding decorations, they would usually opt for the Lincoln Limousine or Mercedes-Benz in black or white. Recently, these models have been less favored compared to colorful supercars. The rental prices for these sports cars aren’t much higher than luxury cars, but they offer a sense of novelty and youthfulness,” the consultant explained.
Expensive Rental Costs Are Not for Everyone
According to Tri Thuc-Znews, the cost of renting supercars and luxury vehicles remains high, ranging from a few million to a few dozen million dong. Two years ago, these cars were typically rented out for the day, with prices ranging from VND 10-50 million, excluding additional charges. However, rental packages have now been streamlined into specific time frames.
When inquiring about renting a Lamborghini Huracan for the day, the consultant informed that supercars are now rented out in 4-hour packages, and daily rentals are no longer offered.

For non-wedding rentals, the 4-hour package costs VND 28 million. The combo for bridal pickup and drop-off with a chauffeur is slightly more expensive, ranging from VND 5-10 million depending on the model and location. Late return or early pickup incurs an additional charge of VND 5 million per hour.
Mr. Long, the manager of Duc Vinh Travel, shared that while the demand for luxury car rentals has increased, these vehicles are not accessible to everyone. The main reasons are the high rental costs, strict conditions, and substantial deposits. Therefore, their target customers are usually artists, entrepreneurs, or affluent families.

“The demand for luxury car rentals has increased, but only VIP customers are willing to spend several dozen million dong on car rentals for their wedding celebrations.
For individual customers, the more affordable options are the Mercedes-Benz GLC, E-Class, or VinFast Lux A, with rental rates ranging from VND 3-8 million per day.
Mr. Long also mentioned that supercar rentals always include a chauffeur because these high-performance vehicles are challenging to drive. Inexperienced drivers could encounter problems during the event, and the maintenance and repair costs for these cars are very high.
“Driving a supercar is not easy, especially for those without experience. Therefore, for supercar rentals, customers must hire a chauffeur to ensure safety,” he added.
