Last night, on May 24, 2024, a group of supercars, including some that had been mysteriously missing for over a year, made a surprise reappearance on a road next to Ho Chi Minh City’s Opera House. Among them were the Ferrari SF90 Stradale and McLaren 720S, which had both been absent from the city’s streets for quite some time.

The gathering also featured three other supercars: the McLaren 650S Spider, McLaren 720S N-Largo, and Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Liberty Walk. It was a treat for car enthusiasts to see these rare and powerful machines all in one place.

After over an hour, the group of supercars headed onto the Long Thanh-Dau Giay highway to test their speed. This was a rare occasion, as gatherings of this size are uncommon since the disbandment of the Car Passion supercar journey and other car groups.

Among the group was the first Ferrari SF90 Stradale to be registered in Vietnam, driven by a well-known local enthusiast. This particular car stands out due to its expensive carbon fiber rims, a unique feature compared to other vehicles.

The Ferrari SF90 Stradale is equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 engine that delivers 769 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. Combined with a hybrid system that includes three electric motors providing an additional 217 horsepower and a 7.9 kWh lithium-ion battery, it offers exceptional performance.

With the electric motors working in tandem with the V8 engine, the SF90 Stradale boasts a total output of 986 horsepower. It is the first plug-in hybrid in Ferrari’s history and currently the most powerful prancing horse on the market.

The Ferrari SF90 Stradale can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 340 km/h. This plug-in hybrid can also travel up to 25 kilometers on pure electric power, thanks to the electric motors on the front axle.

Among the group, three cars stood out for their impressive modifications. Two of them were Liberty Walk creations from Japan: a Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 and a McLaren 650S Spider. The third car was a McLaren 720S N-Largo by Novitec, a renowned tuning company.

The Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Liberty Walk features a unique chameleon wrap that changes color depending on the viewing angle, with purple and green as the dominant shades. This trendy wrap has also been seen on another supercar, a McLaren 750S, which was recently imported to Vietnam at a cost of over 1.2 billion VND.

To complement the new look of the Lamborghini Aventador Limited Edition 50, the sellers chose to paint the rims in a striking bronze color. The first owner of this car spent 3 billion VND on this extensive modification, an amount that could easily buy a luxury SUV or sports car.

Compared to the standard model, Liberty Walk’s body kit gives the Lamborghini Aventador Limited Edition 50 a more aggressive stance with its signature wide-body style. It features flared wheel arches secured with rivets, a massive rear wing, a new carbon fiber hood, and numerous other carbon fiber exterior details.
