On June 1, 2024, Honda Vietnam announced new official promotions for the CR-V model for this month. As a result, in June 2024, the Honda CR-V had lower incentives compared to the previous month. The reason may be that Honda has cleared the inventory of CR-Vs produced in 2023 (VIN 2023).

In particular, in June, Honda is only offering a 50% registration fee support for the G and L 2WD versions of the CR-V. In addition, this month, the G version no longer has a VND 30 million cash incentive. Instead, the G version will be offered with a one-year shell insurance.

The Honda CR-V currently has a listed price of VND 1,109 billion for the G version and VND 1,159 billion for the L 2WD version. With a 50% registration fee incentive, Honda CR-V buyers will save VND 55 million on the G version and VND 58 million on the L 2WD version.

Honda Vietnam’s incentive program will apply to customers who sign a car purchase contract and complete a 100% payment from June 6 to June 30, 2024. At the same time, the registration fee incentive will be applied at a rate of 10%.

Incentive program for Honda CR-V in June 2024

In the first months of 2024, thanks to the company’s generous promotion program, the Honda CR-V had impressive sales figures. In April 2024, this C-size SUV sold 626 units, ranking second in its segment, only after the Mazda CX-5 (800 units). In addition, the e:HEV RS version of the Honda CR-V was the best-selling hybrid model in Vietnam in April 2024. Cumulatively, in the first four months of this year, the Honda CR-V has sold 1,706 units.

The Honda CR-V is currently one of the most expensive models in its segment, with prices ranging from VND 1,109 billion to VND 1,31 billion. However, the car still sells well thanks to its reputable brand, sporty design, and modern comfort and safety features.

Especially, the Honda CR-V is one of the few C-size SUVs in Vietnam that offers a fuel-efficient hybrid engine, along with the Haval H6. Specifically, the hybrid version of the CR-V uses a 2.0L 4-cylinder gasoline engine that produces 146 horsepower. The engine is combined with two electric motors with a total output of 181 horsepower. In total, the car has an output of 204 horsepower and a maximum torque of 335 Nm.

Meanwhile, the gasoline version of the car is equipped with a 1.5L 4-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine that delivers a maximum output of 188 horsepower and a maximum torque of 240 Nm. The engine is paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission and front-wheel or all-wheel drive.

The G, L 2WD, and L AWD versions of the Honda CR-V are currently being assembled domestically. The e:HEV RS version is imported from Thailand.
