On June 3, 2024, Toyota Vietnam officially announced the continuation of its promotional program for customers purchasing the Veloz Cross and Avanza Premio models in June 2024.
Accordingly, from June 1, 2024, to June 30, 2024, customers buying the Toyota Veloz Cross and Avanza Premio can choose one of the following two packages:
Package 1: 0% preferential interest rate fixed for the first 12 months.
Package 2: 1-year Toyota Gold Body Insurance.
This promotion is applicable to all customers who purchase the vehicles and complete the full payment process during the specified period. In addition, the discount program is also applicable to all versions of the two Toyota models, the Veloz Cross and Avanza Premio.
Also, in June 2024, Toyota Financial Services Vietnam (TFSVN) is offering promotional interest rates for customers borrowing to purchase other models. Specifically, customers purchasing all versions of the Toyota Vios will enjoy a 0% interest rate fixed for the first six months. Other Toyota models are offered a preferential interest rate of 1.99% fixed for the first six months.
In reality, the promotion for the Toyota Veloz Cross and Avanza Premio remains unchanged from May 2024. Thanks to this program, in the past month, Toyota sold 604 units of the Veloz Cross in Vietnam, a 15% increase.
However, the Veloz Cross was not Toyota’s best-selling model in May 2024. The top spot went to the Toyota Corolla Cross, with 996 units sold. This result was achieved thanks to the launch of the upgraded version of the Corolla Cross at the beginning of May 2024.
In addition to the Corolla Cross, in the past month, Toyota also reintroduced the Hilux pickup truck to the market with three versions and prices ranging from 668 million to 999 million VND. In its first month back, the Toyota Hilux sold 308 units.
Toyota’s total sales in May 2024 reached 5,356 units, a 19.4% increase. Of these, 1,740 were domestically assembled, and 3,616 were completely built-up imported vehicles.
Meanwhile, the luxury brand Lexus sold 140 vehicles, a 30% increase. The combined sales of both the Toyota and Lexus brands in May 2024 grew by 19.6% to 5,496 units.
