The Mercedes-Benz C-Class: Now Even More Accessible Than Ever

The C-Class is one of the most popular models in the Mercedes-Benz lineup in the Vietnamese market. To enhance the appeal of this range, Mercedes-Benz has quietly adjusted the pricing of the C-Class.

As a result, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class in Vietnam continues to offer three trim levels: the C 200 Avantgarde, C 200 Avantgarde Plus, and C 300 AMG. The new listed prices for these three trims are 1.389 billion, 1.589 billion, and 1.889 billion VND, respectively.

Compared to the previous prices, both the Mercedes-Benz C 200 Avantgarde and C 300 AMG are now 210 million VND more affordable. The Mercedes-Benz C 200 Avantgarde Plus sees an even more significant price reduction of 260 million VND.

It’s not just the C-Class that has seen a change in its listed price; the Mercedes-Benz E-Class has also been given a new price tag. Specifically, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class is now listed at 1.889 billion VND for the E 180 trim, 2.223 billion VND for the E 200 Exclusive, and 2.889 billion VND for the E 300 AMG. Compared to the previous listed prices, these three trims have been reduced by 270 million, 317 million, and 320 million VND, respectively.

New listed prices for the luxury sedans Mercedes-Benz C-Class and E-Class in Vietnam (in VND)

With its new starting price, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class is now even more affordable than the Toyota Camry, a mid-size sedan, with its 2.5Q and 2.5HV trims. Additionally, this luxury car also offers a more attractive listed price compared to its domestic rival, the BMW 3-Series. The current listed prices for the BMW 3-Series range from 1.499 to 1.879 billion VND.

The current generation of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class was introduced to the Vietnamese market in April 2022. With this generation, the car is now locally assembled instead of being imported as a completely built unit.

Besides its exterior design, which resembles a scaled-down version of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, the C-Class impresses with its LED High-Performance headlights on the C200 and Digital Light headlights on the C300 AMG. It also features 19-inch alloy wheels and full LED taillights.

Additionally, the car boasts Artico leather-covered dashboard and seat belts, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, an 11.9-inch central touchscreen, a panoramic sunroof, side and rear window sunshades, a Burmester 3D sound system, smart key access, and a push-button start.

When it comes to safety, the C-Class is equipped with a 360-degree camera, active lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, preventive brake assist, active cruise control, speed limit assistance, and more.

Under the hood, the Mercedes-Benz C200 Avantgarde and C200 Avantgarde Plus are powered by a 1.5L four-cylinder gasoline engine with mild hybrid EQ Boost technology, delivering 204 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the C300 AMG features a more powerful 2.0L four-cylinder engine that produces 258 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. All engines are mated to a 9G-Tronic 9-speed automatic transmission.
