The MG5 MT made its debut in Vietnam back in September 2024 with a suggested retail price of just 399 million VND. At this price point, the MG5 MT became the most affordable sedan in its class in the country. In fact, it’s even cheaper than many B-segment sedans such as the Toyota Vios, Honda City, and Hyundai Accent.
However, many MG dealerships are now offering on-the-road prices for the MG5 MT at around 375 million VND. Some dealerships are even advertising on-the-road prices as low as 365 or 370 million VND for this C-segment sedan. In other words, the on-the-road price of the MG5 MT is now even lower than its listed price.
The cheapest C-segment sedan in Vietnam, the MG5 MT, is now priced at under 370 million VND on-the-road.
It is understood that this on-the-road price applies to the 2023 production MG5 MT (VIN number 2023). This move is to clear inventory for the dealerships.
MG is also currently running a promotion for the MG5 MT in June 2024. Accordingly, MG is offering a 1-year bank interest subsidy worth 25 million VND for the 2023 and 2024 VIN MG5 MT models.
The MG5 MT is not the only model that MG is offering incentives for. The MG5, ZS, and HS lines are also being offered with registration fee subsidies. The value of the MG5 incentive ranges from 52 to 58 million VND, depending on the version. The corresponding figures for the MG ZS are from 53 to 63 million VND, and for the HS, they are from 70 to 75 million VND.
The model with the highest incentive is the MG RX5 2023 VIN. Accordingly, the company is offering registration fees and 2 years of physical damage insurance for customers who buy the two versions of this C-SUV, worth up to 120 million VND.

Official incentives for MG models in June 2024.
MG’s promotional program runs from June 1 to June 30, 2024. In addition, from June 1 to June 25, 2024, customers who purchase the MG5 and ZS will also receive a 2-year physical damage insurance worth 20 million VND. Both programs will be applied to customers who complete the payment procedure of 100% and the dealership issues VAT invoices during the program period.
