The Ultimate Mitsubishi Outlander Deal: Deep Discounts Make the Base Model a Steal, Priced Like a Compact SUV

The Mitsubishi Outlander is currently offered with enticing discounts by dealers nationwide. The standard variant sees a significant reduction of up to 100 million VND, while the highest-end trim receives an even more attractive offer, with discounts reaching up to 140 million VND.

Mitsubishi is offering promotions on its vehicles in June 2024, including the Outlander. The company is providing a 50% discount on registration fees, one year of physical insurance, and a 360-degree camera worth 20 million VND for both versions of the Outlander. This has prompted Mitsubishi dealers to offer even more attractive deals.

A dealer in Hanoi, for instance, is offering the Mitsubishi Outlander 2.0 CVT standard version for just 730 million VND, a massive 95 million VND discount from the listed price. This price is on par with some SUV B-segment models such as the Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta. The on-road price of the 2.0 CVT version in Hanoi is also very competitive at 855 million VND.

Additionally, some dealers are offering discounts of up to 140 million VND on the Mitsubishi Outlander 2.0 CVT Premium version. After the discount, the price of the highest-end model drops to just under 810 million VND. Most of these heavily discounted vehicles are 2023 production models (VIN number 2023), as dealers aim to clear their inventory.

Mitsubishi Outlander Premium with a 2023 VIN number is offered with a discount of up to 140 million VND by dealers.

The Mitsubishi Outlander is not the only C-segment SUV on the Vietnamese market with promotions. Honda is also offering a 50% discount on registration fees for the CR-V G and L 2WD versions, worth 55-58 million VND. Meanwhile, the Subaru Forester is available with discounts ranging from 70 to 160 million VND, depending on the model.

In Vietnam, the Mitsubishi Outlander has never been a top-selling model. In May 2024, Mitsubishi sold 139 Outlanders in Vietnam, a 124.1% increase following the overall market trend. However, from the beginning of 2024 until now, the model has only achieved modest sales of 392 units compared to competitors such as the Mazda CX-5, Ford Territory, and Honda CR-V.

It’s not surprising that the Mitsubishi Outlander isn’t a best-seller. The model hasn’t seen any upgrades in design or features in a long time. Additionally, its convenience and safety features lag behind those of its competitors in the same segment.

The Mitsubishi Outlander in Vietnam has maintained the same old design for many years.

The Mitsubishi Outlander is powered by a 2.0L MIVEC 4-cylinder gasoline engine that produces 145 horsepower and 196 Nm of torque, paired with a CVT transmission.

The current price range of the Mitsubishi Outlander is from 825 to 950 million VND for the two available versions.
