On June 8, 2024, THACO distributor officially introduced the new version of the Kia Sonet in the Vietnamese market. This model now only has three versions: 1.5 Deluxe, 1.5 Luxury, and 1.5 Premium. Meanwhile, the old 1.5 Deluxe MT standard version has been discontinued.

Exterior Equipment of the 2024 Kia Sonet in 3 Versions
As expected, the 1.5 Deluxe version has the most modest exterior equipment. Accordingly, this standard version is only equipped with halogen headlights with automatic on/off function, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, electrically adjustable/folding side mirrors with turn signals, and roof rails. The 1.5 Deluxe does not have front fog lights, a sunroof, or a rear spoiler.

16-inch alloy wheels come standard on the Kia Sonet
Regardless of the version, the 2024 Kia Sonet features 16-inch two-tone alloy wheels paired with 215/60 R16 tires. On the other hand, the 1.5 Luxury and 1.5 Premium versions are both equipped with LED lights from front to back. However, only the highest-end version features front fog lights and a sunroof.

Interior Equipment of the 2024 Kia Sonet in 3 Versions
The differences in interior equipment between the three versions of the 2024 Kia Sonet are also quite noticeable. Accordingly, the 1.5 Deluxe comes with a Urethane-wrapped steering wheel, leather seats, a 4.2-inch multi-information display in the instrument cluster, an 8-inch center touchscreen, support for wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto connectivity, a 6-speaker audio system, manual air conditioning, rear air vents, two Type C USB charging ports, smart key entry, push-button start, and remote engine start.

On the other hand, the 1.5 Luxury version only offers a leather-wrapped steering wheel and automatic air conditioning. Features such as power-adjustable driver’s seat and a 10.25-inch center touchscreen are exclusive to the top-of-the-line 1.5 Premium version.

Safety Equipment of the 2024 Kia Sonet in 3 Versions
The safety equipment of the 2024 Kia Sonet standard version is quite basic, with two airbags, an anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake force distribution (EBD), electronic stability control (ESC), hill-start assist (HAC), rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, front disc brakes, and rear drum brakes.
The 1.5 Luxury version adds a tire pressure monitoring system, cruise control, a speed limit assist system (MSLA), and disc brakes on all four wheels. Only the 1.5 Premium version comes with six airbags.
The 2024 Kia Sonet lacks advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) found in models sold in other markets.
