The Haval H6, a popular SUV in the Chinese market, has received a significant mid-life update for the 2025 model year. The new model was unveiled at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show back in April, and now, the official pricing for the Chinese market has been announced.

In the neighboring market to Vietnam, the 2025 Haval H6 is offered in five different trim levels, with prices ranging from 117,900 to 143,900 Chinese Yuan (approximately 412 to 503 million Vietnamese Dong). However, during the initial launch phase, the SUV will be offered with a discount, bringing the price down to between 103,900 and 129,900 Chinese Yuan (roughly 363 to 454 million Vietnamese Dong).

The 2025 Haval H6 is officially priced and ready to hit the market, with expectations of a future launch in Vietnam.

The new model year brings about a host of changes, including design, convenience features, and engine improvements. The SUV now sports the new Guardian design language, reminiscent of Hyundai models such as the Venue and Palisade. This is largely due to the new multi-point chrome-plated grille that takes center stage at the front.

Additionally, the Haval H6 2025 boasts a two-tier lighting system with a unique “7” shape. At the top, the Starry Light headlights feature an impressive 54 LEDs. Just below, the daytime running lights are designed in a vertical, waterfall-like style and incorporate six LED strips.

Another notable change is the new 19-inch black-painted alloy wheels. At the rear, the SUV features new LED taillights that are now separated instead of the previously connected design, bearing a resemblance to the older Lexus NX.

Not only has the design evolved, but the dimensions of the Haval H6 2025 have also been tweaked, with an increase in length of 50 mm. The SUV now measures 4,703 mm in length, 1,886 mm in width, and 1,730 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,738 mm.

The interior of the Haval H6 2025 has been refreshed as well, sharing some design cues with the Ora 07 electric car, such as the steering wheel. The electronic gear selector, similar to those found in Hyundai vehicles, sits behind this silver-accented steering wheel.

Furthermore, the SUV now comes equipped with a 14.6-inch infotainment screen, doing away with the physical buttons of the previous model. Other new convenience features include a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 9-inch HUD, wireless phone charging, and heated/cooled front seats.

The Haval H6 2025 also boasts advanced driver-assistance systems, offering over 20 safety features. These include lane departure warning and pre-collision warning systems. Powering the SUV are two improved engine options: a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder producing 135 kW (approximately 183 hp) and 275 Nm of torque, and a more powerful 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder generating 175 kW (around 237 hp) and 385 Nm of torque. Both engines are paired with a 9-speed dual-clutch wet transmission and offered with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Haval also plans to introduce a plug-in hybrid Hi4 variant in the future.

Both engine options in the Chinese market Haval H6 2025 deliver increased performance over their predecessors.

According to reports, the new Haval H6 is expected to go on sale in Thailand by the end of this year, with a potential launch in Vietnam to follow. Currently, the Haval H6 is available in Vietnam with a single trim level priced at 986 million Vietnamese Dong.

The Haval H6 has proven to be a successful model in both the Chinese and Thai markets, with cumulative sales in China surpassing 4 million units since its launch in 2011.
