On June 26, 2024, Vingroup launched the campaign “Fierce Vietnamese Spirit – For a Green Future” to encourage the community to support the development of the VinFast electric vehicle brand, contributing to today’s and tomorrow’s green transition. The launch ceremony was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Ministry of Transport, international organizations, and various community groups such as the Youth Union, Student Union, and Senior Citizens’ Association, as well as partner enterprises.

During the launch, Vingroup announced its action plan, including commitments to strive for better, cheaper, and smarter VinFast electric cars and motorcycles. The group will also mobilize its entire ecosystem for the green transition.
Specifically, from July 1, 2024, to July 1, 2026, VinFast electric cars will be offered free parking (up to 5 hours) and priority parking at all Vingroup ecosystem locations. Additionally, VinFast cars can enjoy free charging at V-GREEN stations until July 1, 2025.

Vinhomes residents who own VinFast electric cars will have exclusive privileges, including free parking and charging at Vinhomes parking lots for the next two years. For residents who choose to charge at home, Vingroup will support the installation of charging stations at their doorsteps, with a subsidy of up to 10,000,000 VND per station and a charging cost of 900,000 VND per car per month until July 1, 2026. VinFast electric car owners living in Vinhomes apartments will also be prioritized for parking spaces if available.
The VF9 model comes with additional privileges, such as support for upgrading to a new car and a buyback commitment throughout the vehicle’s lifetime, two years of free charging at V-GREEN stations, a dedicated hotline, and prioritized service at workshops.
The VF9 offers more privileges than other VinFast electric car models.
For VinFast electric motorcycles, from now until August 31, 2024, customers will receive a gift of 2-4 million VND per motorcycle or a 0% interest installment loan for the first six months, plus an additional gift of 1-2 million VND depending on the model, along with other valuable prizes.
VinFast electric motorcycles also receive discounts and promotions.
Furthermore, to encourage the use of electric vehicles, Vingroup announced exclusive VIP privileges and dedicated services for VinFast electric vehicle owners within the group’s ecosystem.
Currently, after nearly two years of transitioning to 100% electricity, VinFast has a range of electric products covering various segments, including VF3, VF5, VF e34, VF6, VF7, VF8, and VF9. In the first quarter of this year, VinFast delivered a total of 9,689 electric vehicles globally, a 444% increase compared to the same period in 2023. Of these, approximately 8,200 vehicles were delivered in the Vietnamese market, making VinFast the second-largest electric vehicle seller in Southeast Asia, after BYD.
