The owner of the Porsche 911 Dakar, a businessman from Hai Phong, has been documenting their journey on his social media, sharing his experiences with his online followers.
The Porsche 911 Dakar has been taken on an extensive road trip across China by its owner. The journey has included a variety of destinations, from the vast grasslands to the source of the Yellow River, China’s second-longest river after the Yangtze, and Qinghai Lake, the country’s largest and most beautiful saltwater lake.

It is known that this Porsche 911 Dakar has only been in the owner’s possession for 10 months but has already embarked on two impressive long-distance journeys. Just a few days after taking delivery, the enthusiast drove to Danang and completed the necessary procedures before heading to China for a trip lasting over three months and covering nearly 33,000 kilometers. After a few months of rest, he recently drove the Porsche 911 Dakar back to Danang and then on to China again for the aforementioned “5 No’s” journey.
There are now four Porsche 911 Dakars in Vietnam. The car is powered by a 3.0-liter inline-six twin-turbocharged gasoline engine that produces 473 horsepower and 570 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with an 8-speed PDK automatic transmission, all-wheel drive, and rear-wheel steering, enabling the sports car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds, with a top speed limited to 240 km/h.
