Launch and Price

Neta is a Chinese mainstream NEV brand owned by Hozon Auto, which was launched in 2018. Currently, it sells five models: Aya, X, S, GT, and L. The latest model, the Neta L, is a crossover vehicle. Initially launched as an EREV (range extender with a gasoline engine as a generator) in April this year, Neta delivered 5,500 units of the Neta L in just two months.

Now, the all-electric variant of the L SUV has been introduced to the Chinese market, promising to create a new wave in the electric crossover segment.

Quick Review of the Neta L EV 2024: All-Electric SUV Promises a Sensation with a Price Starting at VND 455 Million

Specifically, on June 28, 2024, the pure electric version of the Neta L was officially launched, with a total of three versions priced from RMB 139,900 to RMB 162,900, equivalent to VND 455 million to VND 530 million.

Design of the Neta L EV

In terms of appearance, the overall look of the Neta L EV remains unchanged, continuing the characteristic X-shaped design language. The sharp lighting clusters and the large air intakes surrounding both sides create a more impressive front face.

In addition, the front grille is decorated with chrome-plated metal in a matrix dot pattern, adding more details and accents. On the side of the car, there is a more dynamic body line, and the roof is the same color as the body, with fully tinted windows that do not have too much reflective material.

In addition, the Neta L EV will also feature hidden door handles and Hot Wheels-style wheels. The overall shape of the rear of the car is more solid. The transparent taillights and multiple horizontal lines are extended to increase the visual width of the rear of the car. At the same time, the new car will also be equipped with high and low beam lights.

In terms of body size, the length, width, and height of the Neta L EV will be 4,770 mm x 1,900 mm x 1,660 mm, respectively, and the wheelbase will be 2,810 mm.

Interior

Inside the cabin, the base model of the Neta L features a single 15.6-inch screen and a small LCD screen mounted behind the D-shaped steering wheel. The gear selector is hidden behind the steering wheel. There are two cup holders and a wireless charging pad in the center tunnel of the Neta L.

The highest-end version uses a single cluster formed by two 15.6-inch screens. It looks quite similar to the Li Auto car. The Neta L EV also features a NETA720° 16-speaker surround sound system and a folding table in the front passenger seat, which is very convenient for accompanying passengers to entertain or work.

Moreover, in terms of interior, the Neta L EV will offer Maillard Brown and Mousse White interior colors, and the car will also provide an independent 6.6-liter compressor refrigerator with a temperature control range from -6°C to -50°C.

In terms of configuration, the new car provides a 10-way adjustable driver’s seat, a 14-way adjustable front passenger seat (both front seats have a SPA massage system), and a headrest speaker for the driver’s seat. In addition, after folding down the rear seats, the trunk space of the new car can be expanded from 583 liters to 1,434 liters.

Powertrain

The Neta L EV is powered by an electric motor that delivers a maximum output of 227 hp to the rear wheels. Its maximum torque reaches 310 Nm. This electric crossover can accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 7.6 seconds.

The CATL Shenxing LFP battery pack with a capacity of 68 kWh provides energy to the electric motor. The Neta L can travel up to 510 km on a single charge. It can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 21 minutes. To be clear, the top-of-the-line Neta L EREV is equipped with a 30 kWh package from CATL for a range of 210 km. The combined range is 1,300 km.

The launch of the all-electric Nezha L further enriches the product line of the brand and brings more choices to consumers. Although its sales volume is still far behind the leading brands in China, it has made significant progress. This year, the Neta L will be launched overseas, with the UAE as one of the key markets for this model.
