Last night, on the 30th of June 2024, an event in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, quickly gained traction online. Specifically, it was the official handover of a luxurious all-electric vehicle by Rolls-Royce to Mr. Pham Tran Nhat Minh, commonly known as Minh “Nhua.”

The event marked the introduction of the first Rolls-Royce Spectre in Vietnam, showcasing Minh “Nhua”‘s extravagant lifestyle. With this addition of the Spectre to his collection, Minh “Nhua” now proudly owns four Rolls-Royce models: the Phantom, Ghost, Cullinan, and now the Spectre. He is the son of the renowned businessman Pham Van Muoi.

Minh “Nhua”‘s newly acquired Rolls-Royce Spectre boasts a sleek white exterior, a consistent choice as he also owns a white Cullinan, another Rolls-Royce model he purchased earlier. However, the Cullinan has faced challenges with registration and has remained without a license plate for over three years.

The interior of Minh “Nhua”‘s Spectre features a white and green color scheme. Unlike his previous Rolls-Royce models, which were known for their high fuel consumption, the Spectre is an all-electric vehicle with a fuel efficiency of 0 liters/100 km. This remarkable efficiency enables the car to travel from Ho Chi Minh City to Nha Trang on a single full charge.

Under the hood, the Rolls-Royce Spectre delivers an impressive performance with a maximum output of 577 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque from its electric motor. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/h. According to EPA testing in the United States, the Spectre offers a range of 515 kilometers on a single charge.

Rolls-Royce conducted thorough research and concluded that 515 kilometers is more than sufficient for their target audience. The company explained that their typical customers own multiple vehicles and do not rely solely on their Rolls-Royce for daily transportation.

In Vietnam, the Rolls-Royce Spectre is priced at 18 billion VND, excluding additional options. It is estimated that the final cost, including registration and other fees, for the first Spectre in the country could exceed 28 billion VND.
