For July 2024, Honda continues its promotional program with offers on select models, including the CR-V. The CR-V G variant is now offered with a 100% discount on registration fees, while the L 2WD version receives a 50% discount and an additional year of hull insurance.
With a listed price of VND 1,109 billion for the G trim and VND 1,159 billion for the L 2WD, these promotions translate to customer savings of VND 111 million and VND 58 million, respectively.
Meanwhile, the L 4WD and e:HEV RS variants of the CR-V are excluded from this month’s promotions, maintaining their premium positioning as the most expensive options in the CR-V lineup in Vietnam.
These offers from Honda Vietnam are valid for customers who sign a purchase contract and complete the full payment process between July 5 and July 31, 2024. The registration fee discount will be applied at a rate of 10%.

Honda Vietnam’s promotional offers for the CR-V in July 2024.
Following a significant sales decline in May 2024, with a 49.3% drop compared to the previous month, Honda is now incentivizing customers with enhanced promotions on the CR-V for July.
Despite having one of the highest price tags in its segment, ranging from VND 1,109 billion to VND 1,31 billion, the Honda CR-V remains a popular choice. It currently holds the third position in the C-SUV segment for cumulative sales in the first five months of 2024, with 2,023 units sold. This success can be attributed to the brand’s reputation, sporty design, ample features, and the availability of a fuel-efficient hybrid powertrain.
The Honda CR-V is one of the few C-SUVs in Vietnam offering a hybrid option, alongside the Haval H6. The e:HEV RS variant boasts a hybrid system comprising a 2.0L 4-cylinder gasoline engine producing 146 horsepower and two electric motors with a combined output of 181 horsepower. Together, the system delivers a total of 204 horsepower and 335 Nm of torque.
Meanwhile, the G, L 2WD, and L AWD trims are equipped with a 1.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder gasoline engine that generates 188 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) and is available with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
The G, L 2WD, and L AWD variants of the Honda CR-V are locally assembled in Vietnam, while the e:HEV RS is imported from Thailand. With the upcoming decree reducing registration fees for domestically produced and assembled vehicles, expected to take effect in August 2024, Honda stands to benefit from this policy change.
