On the afternoon of July 3, 2024, heavy rain in Hanoi caused flooding in some areas. Instead of keeping his stunning Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster in the showroom, a wealthy enthusiast decided to take it out for a drive to experience the thrill of driving a supercar on wet roads.
The video shared by the owner shows him enjoying driving his convertible Lamborghini through puddles, but some have expressed concern that this could result in dirty water being splashed onto pedestrians.
After the Rain: A Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Convertible Plays in the Puddles
Driving a supercar right after heavy rain is not a common practice as it can easily get the car dirty and potentially pose other risks. However, a young millionaire chose to take his Lamborghini Aventador SVJ convertible out for a spin, seeking a novel thrill.
According to our research, this Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster has a mysterious history. It is one of only four such cars in the country, and it has been modified to resemble the SVJ model, most notably in its sporty front bumper with a horizontal splitter and wider side skirts. The most significant change is the new rear bumper, which raises the exhaust pipes from the center to a higher position, featuring symmetrical round pipes like the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster SVJ.
Unfortunately, this Lamborghini, with its Aventador SVJ-inspired body kit, has not received any engine upgrades. The heart of the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster is a 6.5-liter V12 engine that produces 700 horsepower and 690 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 7-speed ISR automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, enabling the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds, reaching a top speed of 350 km/h.
