The All-New Honda Civic Hybrid 2025 |
According to Motor1, the 2025 Honda Civic will receive a range of upgrades, from its exterior design to its engine, and is set to go on sale in the second quarter of this year. The Honda Civic Hybrid will be offered in two variants: Sport Hybrid and Sport Touring Hybrid.
Under the hood, the new-generation Civic will feature a combination of a gasoline engine and a dual-motor electric drive system, paired with a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine. This setup delivers a combined output of 200 horsepower and an impressive 314 Nm of peak torque.
With this powertrain, the 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid becomes the brand’s strongest model that isn’t a Type R. In comparison, the Honda Civic Type R boasts a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that generates 315 horsepower and 420 Nm of peak torque.
As per the manufacturer, this hybrid model offers exceptional fuel efficiency, with an EPA-estimated combined rating of nearly 50 mpg, marking a significant improvement over its predecessor. The 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid also features a 4-level regenerative braking system and an upgraded suspension for enhanced handling and reduced noise.

Leaked images of the 2025 Civic Hybrid’s exterior surfaced earlier this year, showcasing a sportier front end with vertically-oriented upper grille openings and a subtly revised hood. The headlights feature a body-colored trim, adding a sleek touch.
The previous 5-spoke wheels have been replaced with sophisticated 7-spoke two-tone alloy wheels. Inside, the Civic Hybrid 2025 impresses with high-quality leather upholstery, a 12-speaker audio system, and a 9-inch infotainment screen. Notably, the Sport Touring Hybrid variant introduces Google Play integration, a first for the Civic lineup.
“The 2025 Civic Hybrid is a perfect step towards our goal of achieving 100% zero-emission vehicle sales by 2040,” said Lance Woelfer, Assistant Vice President of Honda.
This sleek sedan will soon be available at dealerships, with pricing to be announced in June. In Vietnam, the Honda Civic is currently offered at authorized dealers, starting at 730 million VND, while the Type R variant is priced at nearly 2.4 billion VND.
