MG is offering a range of attractive incentives for its vehicles in the Vietnamese market this July 2024. Similar to the previous month, the MG RX5 continues to be the model with the most promotions.
Specifically, in July 2024, customers who purchase the MG RX5 STD and LUX versions will receive complimentary registration fees and two years of physical damage insurance, totaling VND 120 million. This offer applies to both 2023 and 2024 models (by VIN number).
It’s not just the RX5 that’s receiving generous incentives. MG is also offering significant discounts on its other C-segment SUV, the MG HS. The MG HS 1.5T DEL with 2023 and 2024 VIN numbers will come with a support package for registration fees and one year of physical damage insurance, valued at VND 80 million. The incentive value for the MG HS 1.5T LUX with a 2024 VIN number is VND 85 million.
Both the MG5 and MG ZS models also come with registration fee waivers for July 2024. The incentives for the MG5 1.5 STD and 1.5 LUX are VND 24 million and VND 26 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the MG ZS is offered with a VND 26 million discount for the 1.5 STD version and VND 29 million for the 1.5 LUX version.
For the New MG5 1.5L MT, the car comes with a complimentary one-year bank interest rate worth VND 25 million. Lastly, the MG4 EV electric car promotion includes a 7 kW charger, free charging for 12 months with MG’s public charging system partners, and a one-to-one battery warranty for seven years.

Incentive program for MG models in July 2024.
The MG brand currently offers a total of six models in the Vietnamese market. This year, the brand will introduce another new model, the MG7, a D-segment sedan that will compete with the likes of the Toyota Camry and Mazda6.
Although MG is a British brand, it is currently owned by the Chinese conglomerate SAIC. In 2012, MG entered the Vietnamese market through the distributor CT Brothers Automobile but withdrew after a few months. MG returned to Vietnam in 2020 with a new distributor, the Tan Chong Group from Malaysia. However, after three years, the distribution rights for MG vehicles in Vietnam were transferred back to the parent company, SAIC.
