Vietnamese billionaire Pham Tran Nhat Minh, popularly known as Minh “Nhua,” has sparked immense interest among the country’s car enthusiasts by sharing his plans to purchase the limited-edition Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 supercar. With only 112 units produced globally, all of which found owners just three days after its launch, the Countach LPI 800-4 is an exclusive and highly sought-after vehicle.

Minh “Nhua” further piqued curiosity by posing alongside a mysterious Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4, which, as it turns out, is not for sale. Instead, this particular car is reserved for display at the Lamborghini museum in Italy, which reopened last year after renovations. The museum is a special destination for VIP guests and visitors wanting to immerse themselves in the brand’s history.

The supercar featured in Minh “Nhua”‘s photos is the very same car that starred in the global launch event of the Countach LPI 800-4 and currently resides in the Lamborghini museum. As such, it remains unknown what unique specifications, such as color and interior options, Minh “Nhua”‘s ordered car will feature.

The Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 is a hybrid supercar with a mid-engine layout designed by the brand’s head of design, Mitja Borkert. Introduced on August 14, 2021, the car pays homage to the original Countach unveiled in 1974, marking its 50th anniversary.

The Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 is a masterpiece built on the hybrid powertrain of the Sián FKP 37, with only 112 units planned for production. This number is a nod to the LP 112 designation used during the initial development of the Countach. Furthermore, the car’s price tag of $2.62 million, equivalent to VND 61 billion, is sure to turn heads, rivaling the likes of the Bugatti Chiron and surpassing the Ferrari Daytona SP3, Pagani Huayra, and Koenigsegg Regera.

Sharing the same carbon fiber monocoque chassis and mechanics as the Sián FKP 37, introduced in 2019, the Countach LPI 800-4 boasts a combined power output of 803 horsepower from its hybrid system, delivering all-wheel drive.

The Countach LPI 800-4’s powertrain is a combination of a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine (LP) positioned longitudinally, producing 770 horsepower, and a 48-volt electric motor integrated into the 7-speed automatic manual transmission, contributing an additional 34 horsepower.

Energy recovered during braking is stored in supercapacitors, which are lighter than traditional lithium-ion batteries. With a dry weight of 1,595 kg and a weight distribution of 43-57% front to rear, the Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 boasts impressive performance figures. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds, reach 200 km/h in 8.6 seconds, and attain a top speed of 355 km/h.
