With just two months to go until the world’s largest supercar event, the Gumball 3000, takes place in Vietnam, super cars from all over the globe have already started to be shipped to the country. Among them are many hypercars and megacars, much to the excitement of local car enthusiasts who are eagerly awaiting the arrival of these masterpieces by Bugatti, Koenigsegg, and Pagani.

Recently, a photo of two cars that bear a striking resemblance to the speed kings, the Bugatti Chiron and Pagani Huayra, parked next to each other at an event in Northern Vietnam, sparked interest in the car community. Many commented on the photo, wondering if the Gumball 3000 team had already arrived in Vietnam or if a wealthy individual had just imported this expensive pair of cars.

However, this pair of Bugatti Chiron and Pagani Huayra are not the real deal but rather the clever creations of a group of young enthusiasts called Nhết TV. They transformed old, worn-out cars into these impressive replicas, and the level of detail is remarkable. From the front, even a non-expert would be hard-pressed to tell that these are not the real thing. The Bugatti Chiron replica even sports the colors of the Super Sport edition.

The “made in Vietnam” Bugatti Chiron by Nhết TV is built on a 1998 Toyota Corolla platform and is powered by a 1.5-liter gasoline engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. It features 19-inch alloy wheels, a custom suspension, self-made disc brakes, and motorcycle-sourced brake calipers. The total cost of this transformation exceeded 600 million VND.

As for the Pagani Huayra replica, the group shared that it was also built using an old Toyota platform, keeping only the chassis and engine. The project took a long time to complete, and they had already finished building a Ferrari LaFerrari replica before this one.

The Pagani Huayra is admired not only for its exterior but also for its cockpit. Many car websites have praised it as one of the most intricate supercar interiors, and Nhết TV’s replica certainly does it justice. The resemblance to the one owned by Minh “Nhựa” is uncanny, from the aircraft-like center console with its multitude of buttons to the steering wheel and instrument cluster.

Other details like the air-conditioning vents, designed to look like turbines, add to the overall authenticity. But what truly impressed us was the hood release, a leather pull tab, faithfully recreated from the original Pagani design.
