For those looking to spend around 600 million VND on a car in Vietnam, there is a diverse range of options to choose from, including sedans, SUVs, and MPVs that cater to different needs and preferences. Here is a list of the top 5 models in this price segment, along with their current promotions:
Hyundai Elantra
The Hyundai Elantra is a popular sedan that has consistently recorded strong sales growth in the Vietnamese market. Positioned in the C-segment, it competes against the likes of the Mazda3, Toyota Corolla Altis, and Honda Civic. The Elantra’s price ranges from 599 million to 799 million VND, depending on the trim level.
Throughout May, Hyundai is offering attractive promotions to stimulate demand for the Elantra. On their website, they are running a “Chà o hè rá»±c rỡ” (“Bright Summer Greetings”) campaign that includes the Elantra and other models. Customers who purchase the Elantra before May 31 can choose between two options: either a 0% interest rate for the first 12 months or a 50% discount on registration fees, equivalent to 29-39 million VND.

In addition to the manufacturer’s promotions, some dealerships are also offering clearance sales on the 2023 VIN Elantra models. When contacted, a Hyundai dealership in Ho Chi Minh City confirmed that the 2023 Elantra 2.0 Special edition has been discounted from 724 million to 666 million VND. This dealership-specific promotion is only available while stocks last.
“We only have two white Elantra 2.0 Special edition models left with the 2023 VIN, so if you’re not particular about the model year, now is a great opportunity to take advantage of this discount,” added the dealership representative.
Kia K3
Another sedan worth considering in this price range is the Kia K3. If you prefer low-slung cars with powerful engines, the K3 could be an excellent choice. Positioned in the C-segment, the K3 was introduced in Vietnam in 2008 and quickly became a popular model in its class.

Specifically, the Kia K3 1.6 Turbo, with a listed price of 734 million VND, is now discounted to 714 million VND. The 2.0 Premium version has been reduced from 639 million to 619 million VND. The remaining trim levels have listed prices ranging from 549 million to 599 million VND.
Toyota Veloz Cross
If you’re looking for a higher-riding, more versatile vehicle in the 600 million VND price range, the Toyota Veloz Cross is a great option. Introduced in Vietnam in 2022, the Veloz Cross has consistently been one of the best-selling MPVs in its segment.

Mitsubishi XForce and Xpander
The Mitsubishi XForce, a newcomer to the Vietnamese market this year, has quickly risen to the top of the B-segment SUV sales charts. In the last two reporting periods, the XForce sold 2,140 units, outperforming established models such as the Honda HR-V and Toyota Yaris Cross.
In early March, Mitsubishi Vietnam announced new listed prices for the XForce. The GLX trim starts at 599 million VND, the Exceed trim is priced at 640 million VND, and the Premium trim is offered at 680 million VND.
During May, customers who purchase the Mitsubishi XForce will receive a complimentary scale model of the car and a 12-month body insurance package. Additionally, those who opt for the Exceed trim can benefit from promotional interest rates on their loan.
Its predecessor, the Mitsubishi Xpander, is also a solid choice in the 600 million VND price range. With an average daily sales figure of over 50 units, the Xpander leads the affordable MPV segment and the overall Vietnamese car market for the year 2023 so far.
