The vibrant city of Ho Chi Minh recently witnessed a stunning spectacle as a duo of McLaren 720S supercars, both with aggressive body kit modifications, cruised through its streets. These modified McLarens, a coupe and a convertible, turned heads with their unique and menacing aesthetics.

What makes these two McLaren 720S stand out is their one-of-a-kind modifications. The coupe boasts the N-Largo body kit by Novitec, of which only 15 sets were produced globally. The convertible, on the other hand, sports the DarwinPro Senna GTR body kit, inspired by the legendary McLaren Senna GTR race car. These two cars are currently the most extensively modified 720S models in Vietnam.

The N-Largo-modified McLaren 720S coupe is an exclusive sight, as Novitec only produced 15 sets of this body kit worldwide. This particular car is owned by a well-known biker who has since transitioned to cycling and supercars. Finished in a striking Latana Purple paint job, this McLaren has undergone numerous wardrobe changes, each time showcasing a different look with the Novitec body kit. One of the most distinctive features of this car is the extensive use of Forged Carbon Fiber, an expensive and high-end material.

The N-Largo body kit not only enhances the visual appeal of the McLaren 720S but also provides a wider body and an aggressive stance. The hood, reminiscent of the limited-edition McLaren Senna, adds to the overall allure. Completing the look are a set of custom wheels, a collaboration between Novitec and Vossen, and a Frequency Intelligent Exhaust system that boosts power by 8% while providing a throatier exhaust note.

Under the hood, the McLaren 720S is a beast, powered by a 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces a staggering 720 horsepower and 770 Nm of torque. Coupled with a 7-speed SSG dual-clutch transmission, this supercar can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and come to a complete stop from 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds. The top speed of the McLaren 720S is an impressive 341 km/h.

However, the real showstopper of this duo is the McLaren 720S Spider convertible, owned by a Vietnamese-American businessman from Nghe An. This convertible has been transformed with the DarwinPro body kit, inspired by the track-focused McLaren Senna GTR. The front bumper has been extended, and the addition of large side fins gives the car a bold and assertive appearance. The new hood design, reminiscent of the Senna GTR, adds to the car’s aggressive demeanor.

The DarwinPro body kit for the McLaren 720S Spider also includes vented fenders and a massive rear wing that is unlike anything seen on the market. This race-inspired wing is mounted on both sides of the rear end, providing an extraordinary look without compromising the functionality of the original active rear spoiler. The starting price for this body kit is $18,550, not including additional options and shipping costs to Vietnam.

Performance-wise, the McLaren 720S Spider is a force to be reckoned with, sharing the same engine and specifications as its coupe counterpart. The only difference is that the convertible tops out at 325 km/h when the roof is down, while reaching the same top speed of 341 km/h as the coupe with the roof up.
