On July 15, 2024, VinFast officially introduced the upgraded version of its VF8 electric car, named the LUX, in Vietnam. During this event, VinFast also announced the special edition of the VF8 LUX, called the Hoa Long Doc Ban. Now, the real-life images of this special edition have been revealed.
This limited edition will see only 888 vehicles produced. According to the manufacturer, this edition is exclusively for the first 888 customers who purchase the VF8 LUX between July 16 and July 22, 2024.

Interestingly, the VF8 LUX is not the first VinFast model to feature a Hoa Long Doc Ban edition. Back in late 2023, the Vietnamese automotive brand introduced a similar version for the VF7.
Similar to the VF7 special edition, the VinFast VF8 LUX “Hoa Long Doc Ban” boasts several exterior details plated in gold, including the headlights, front and rear bumpers, wheel rims, and body sides. Additionally, the sequence number is engraved on the vehicle’s body. Aside from these changes, the VinFast VF8 LUX “Hoa Long Doc Ban” remains unchanged from the standard model.

The VinFast VF8 LUX “Hoa Long Doc Ban” also has its sequence number engraved on the body.
As previously announced, the VinFast VF8 LUX offers 10 advanced color options, with the roof and body featuring new two-tone combinations. Additionally, it comes with a voice-controlled virtual assistant integrated with Generative AI technology, enabling it to actively search for and collate information available on the Internet to provide more complete and contextually relevant responses. Moreover, this AI technology allows the virtual assistant to learn and continuously update itself, becoming smarter over time.

Similar to its predecessor, the VinFast VF8 LUX is available in two versions: the standard and the Plus. The standard version is equipped with an electric motor that delivers up to 350 horsepower and offers a range of 471 km on a full charge. The Plus version, on the other hand, boasts 402 horsepower and a range of 457 km.
Not only is the Plus version more powerful, but it also comes with integrated AI generative technology. The standard version will receive this feature in the future through software updates. Both versions are equipped with Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) and the VF Connect smart services package.
Customers who place a deposit for the VF8 LUX in July 2024 will be eligible for the following incentives:
- Free charging at V-GREEN public charging stations for two years;
- Guaranteed vehicle repurchase offer of up to 90% of the original price;
- Free parking for up to five hours and priority parking at Vingroup facilities.
For those who place their deposits early, during the first official week of sales (from July 16 to July 22), VinFast is offering a Vinmec health check voucher worth 100 million VND and a chance to win a priority spot in the Vinschool system, along with a year of free tuition. Additionally, for every 888 successful car purchases during the first week, VinFast will hold a lucky draw with a grand prize of a 12-billion-VND Vinhomes villa.

The VinFast VF8 LUX standard version is priced at 1.17 billion VND with a battery lease and 1.38 billion VND with battery ownership. The respective figures for the Plus version are 1.359 billion and 1.569 billion VND.
