On July 18, 2024, Chinese automotive brand BYD officially announced the pricing of its Atto 3 electric car in the Vietnamese market. Accordingly, the BYD Atto 3 in Vietnam is offered in two versions: Dynamic and Premium, priced at 766 million VND and 886 million VND, respectively.

Comparing the Exterior Equipment of the Two BYD Atto 3 Versions
Both versions of the Atto 3 are developed based on BYD’s exclusive e-Platform 3.0 framework. The dimensions of the two versions are identical, with a length of 4,455 mm, a width of 1,875 mm, a height of 1,615 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,720 mm. Additionally, both versions offer a ground clearance of 150 mm. With these dimensions, the BYD Atto 3 is positioned in the C-segment of electric SUVs, competing directly with the VinFast VF6.
Externally, the two versions of the BYD Atto 3 do not differ significantly. Both versions feature LED headlights, turn signal lights, LED daytime running lights, LED high-mounted brake lights, and electrically adjustable, foldable, and heated side mirrors.
LED headlights and LED daytime running lights are standard equipment on the BYD Atto 3.
However, the standard version of this electric car comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, while the Premium version is equipped with 18-inch wheels and additional roof rails, adaptive headlights, and a power tailgate.

Comparing the Interior Equipment of the Two BYD Atto 3 Versions
The interior of the BYD Atto 3 offers a spacious 2-row, 5-seat configuration. Both versions feature a multifunction steering wheel, a 5-inch digital instrument cluster, synthetic leather seats, 60:40 split-folding rear seats, a 6-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, and a 4-way manually adjustable front passenger seat.

Other standard equipment includes Bluetooth connectivity, wired Apple CarPlay, voice control (in English), four USB Type-A/Type-C ports evenly distributed between the front and rear, multi-color ambient lighting, LED reading lights, wireless phone charging, a 12V power outlet, smart keyless entry, push-button start, one-touch power windows with anti-pinch function, automatic climate control, and a CN95 air filtration system.
The standard version comes with a 12.8-inch touchscreen display that can rotate horizontally or vertically, a 6-speaker audio system, and manually adjustable anti-glare rear-view mirrors. In contrast, the Premium version offers a larger 15.6-inch touchscreen display, automatic anti-glare rear-view mirrors, a panoramic sunroof, an 8-speaker Dirac HD audio system, multi-color ambient lighting that synchronizes with the music on the door handles, LED lighting in the front seat footwell area, and a PM2.5 air quality sensor.

The standard version comes with 4 airbags, front seatbelt reminders, a tire pressure monitoring system, an electronic parking brake, auto hold, electronic stability control, hill start assist, hill descent control, a rearview camera, 4 rear parking sensors, and cruise control.
The standard version of the BYD Atto 3 offers basic safety equipment.
