The Wuling Cloud EV made its debut in Indonesia back in February at the 2024 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS). After almost half a year, the model’s price has finally been announced for the Indonesian market.
The Wuling Cloud EV is now officially on sale in Southeast Asia.
Displayed at the 2024 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), the Wuling Cloud EV is offered in a single variant and is priced at 398.8 million Rupiah (approximately 622 million VND). Indonesia is the first Southeast Asian market to have access to this Chinese electric vehicle.
The Cloud EV is the third electric car that Wuling is currently selling in Indonesia, after the AirEV and BinguoEV. Similar to its siblings, the Wuling Cloud EV is assembled at the Cikarang industrial park in Bekasi, West Java, Indonesia, instead of being imported from China. With a 40% localization rate, the electric car benefits from a 10% VAT reduction according to Indonesian policies.
Also known as the Baojun Yunduo in the Chinese market, the Wuling Cloud EV has dimensions of 4,259 x 1,850 x 1,652 mm (length x width x height) and a wheelbase of 2,700 mm. With these dimensions, it will compete with the BYD Dolphin and MG4 EV.
If the Wuling Cloud EV were to enter the Vietnamese market, it would compete with the BYD Dolphin.
While Wuling refers to the Cloud EV as an MPV, its design is more akin to a hatchback.
True to its name, the Cloud EV has a soft and rounded design. Both the front and rear of the car feature a two-tier layout with LED lights stretching across. Additionally, it has a short hood, sleek sides, blacked-out pillars for a floating roof effect, straight character lines, and chrome trim surrounding the body.

Notable features of the Wuling Cloud EV in Indonesia include LED headlights and taillights, a charging port located on the front left fender, hidden door handles, and 18-inch two-tone alloy wheels with a five-spoke design.

The interior of the Wuling Cloud EV offers a two-row seating configuration with a minimalist dashboard. It features an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, along with climate control buttons. The seats are upholstered in synthetic leather and are designed to resemble Italian water bubble sofa seats.

Additionally, the Chinese electric car comes with power-adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, a PM2.5 air filtration system, rear air vents, smart key entry, push-button start, a 20W USB port, wireless phone charging, a six-speaker audio system, a smart power tailgate, and 256-color ambient lighting.

The Wuling Cloud EV also boasts an impressive list of safety features, including four airbags, a 360-degree camera, ABS with EBD and BA, hill-start assist, adaptive cruise control, curve assist, automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, and intelligent headlight assist.
Powering the Wuling Cloud EV in Indonesia is a 100 kW electric motor (approximately 136 horsepower) and 200 Nm of torque, enabling it to reach a top speed of 150 km/h. The car is equipped with a 50.6 kWh LFP battery supplied by Liuzhou Huating New Energy Technology, offering a range of 460 km according to the CLTC test cycle in China.
The Cloud EV supports both slow AC charging and fast DC charging. With slow charging, it takes approximately seven hours to charge the battery from 20% to 100%. Fast charging can boost the battery from 30% to 100% in just 30 minutes.
It remains unclear whether the Wuling Cloud EV will be sold in other Southeast Asian markets like Vietnam after its launch in Indonesia. Currently, Wuling offers the Hongguang Mini EV in Vietnam and is preparing to launch the Bingo. The Wuling Cloud EV’s competitors, the BYD Dolphin and MG4 EV, are already available in Vietnam, priced at 659 million VND and 828 million VND, respectively.
