The Zeekr 009 is a large, all-electric MPV that made its debut in November 2022. In less than two years, the Zeekr brand, under the Geely Group, has unveiled an upgraded version of this model.
The most notable feature of the 2025 model is the new front-wheel-drive (FWD) option. This version is equipped with a single electric motor on the front axle, delivering a maximum output of 416 horsepower and 440 Nm of torque. As a result, the Zeekr 009 FWD can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 230 km/h.
The Zeekr 009 2025 now offers a FWD variant.
Zeekr has not only introduced a FWD option but has also upgraded the all-wheel-drive (AWD) version. The 2025 AWD model utilizes two electric motors, one on each axle, producing a combined output of 778 horsepower and 810 Nm of torque. This setup enables the AWD variant to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds, while still achieving a top speed of 230 km/h.
Both the FWD and AWD versions of the Zeekr 009 2025 are equipped with nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC) batteries, offering a capacity of 108 kWh. On a single charge, the FWD model can achieve a maximum range of 740 kilometers, while the AWD variant can travel up to 702 kilometers, as per the CLTC testing cycle in China. Furthermore, these batteries support rapid DC charging, taking just 11.5 minutes to charge from 10% to 80% thanks to the 800V electrical system.
The Zeekr 009 2025 can be fully charged in under 12 minutes.
For an additional 50,000 Chinese Yuan (approximately 175 million Vietnamese Dong), customers can opt for the larger 140 kWh battery pack. This optional battery extends the range to up to 900 kilometers, depending on the variant.
In markets outside of China, the Zeekr 009 2025 is equipped with a 116 kWh battery, offering a range of 582 kilometers for the AWD version, as per the more stringent WLTP testing cycle. Additionally, these models utilize a 400V electrical system, resulting in slightly longer charging times compared to the 800V system.
Zeekr claims that over 1,366 details have been changed in the 2025 model. However, the exterior design remains largely unchanged. The most noticeable update is the revised grille, which now features more chrome accents and can be painted in the body color, with integrated lighting.

Another new addition is the LiDAR sensor on the roof, which was previously exclusive to the high-end Grand four-seater variant.
The dimensions of the MPV have also been slightly adjusted, with an increase in length by 8 mm to 5,217 mm, and a decrease in height by 36 mm to 1,812 mm. The width and wheelbase remain unchanged.

Inside, the Zeekr 009 2025 retains a familiar layout, with a simple dashboard design. It features a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a new 15.05-inch OLED central touchscreen infotainment system with 2.5K resolution. The overhead display has also been upgraded to a 17-inch OLED panel with 3K resolution.

These displays, along with the 35.95 AR heads-up display (HUD), are powered by a pair of Qualcomm 8295 chips with enhanced artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. This enables the vehicle to predict the user’s needs based on their habits. For example, when parked at home, the vehicle can predict the next day’s energy usage based on the user’s driving habits and proactively remind them to charge the battery at the optimal time.
The interior also benefits from upgraded materials, with softer surfaces and Nappa leather upholstery on the seats, which are now ventilated, massaging, and heated. The headrests are integrated with speakers for an enhanced audio experience, while the Ultrasuede headliner adds a touch of luxury.
Similar to its predecessor, the Zeekr 009 2025 is offered with two interior configurations: a six-seater and a four-seater. A new seven-seater layout is now available, catering to customers who require additional seating capacity.

In the seven-seater configuration, the Zeekr 009 2025 features two captain’s chairs in the middle row. However, these seats are slightly narrower than those in the six-seater model and provide a walkway to the rear seats. The seven-seat layout is available with both the FWD and AWD drivetrains, while the six-seat configuration is exclusive to the AWD variant.

Other notable features of the Zeekr 009 2025 include an air suspension system with electromagnetic shock absorbers, one-pedal driving mode, Matrix LED headlights with adaptive lighting and steering-responsive cornering lights, power-sliding doors and tailgate, a dual-pane sunroof, a 30-speaker Yamaha audio system, 50W wireless phone charging, USB Type-C ports, tri-zone automatic climate control, a CN95/PM2.5 air filtration system, and a new refrigerator.
The vehicle is also equipped with an extensive suite of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), including adaptive cruise control at all speeds, automatic emergency braking, pre-collision warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and remote parking assist.
Positioned as a rival to the Toyota Alphard, the Zeekr 009 2025 is priced between 439,000 and 469,000 Chinese Yuan (approximately 1.53 to 1.64 billion Vietnamese Dong) in the Chinese market. Following its launch in China and Hong Kong, this premium all-electric MPV will make its way to Southeast Asia, with Malaysia being the next market by the end of this year.
