Nissan is set to launch an upgraded version of its Almera model in Vietnam later this year. However, dealerships still have inventory of the 2023 production year vehicles (identified by their VIN number). To clear out this stock, some dealerships are offering significant discounts on the B-segment sedan.
The Nissan Almera CVT with a 2023 VIN is being advertised by dealerships at a price of just VND 439 million, a discount of VND 100 million from the listed price. With this offer, the standard version of the Nissan Almera is priced equally with the Hyundai Accent 1.5 MT and is cheaper than the Toyota Vios 1.5E MT.

The dealership’s discount program appears to include the manufacturer’s promotion. In July 2024, Nissan is offering a 150% registration fee support for the Almera. This model has two versions: CVT and CVT High-End, priced at VND 539 million and VND 595 million, respectively. With the 150% registration fee support, customers can save between VND 81 million and VND 106 million, depending on the version and the province or city of registration.
So, for those looking to own a Nissan Almera at a bargain price, now is a great time. However, it’s important to note that vehicles with a 2023 VIN may depreciate more when resold. Additionally, the colors and quantities of these clearance vehicles may be limited.
The new version of the Nissan Almera will continue to be imported from Thailand and has been improved in terms of both design and features.
The 2025 Nissan Almera, soon to be released in Vietnam, will feature a new grille, front bumper, alloy wheels, and paint colors. The old Monarch Orange color will be replaced with a new Gray Sky Pearl shade. The high-end version of the car may also offer a black roof for a more striking appearance.

Unfortunately, the engine of the 2025 Nissan Almera remains unchanged. It still uses a turbocharged 1.0L 3-cylinder gasoline engine that produces 100 horsepower and 152 Nm of torque. The power is transmitted to the wheels through an Xtronic CVT automatic transmission, allowing the car to achieve a fuel efficiency of 23.3 km/l (approximately 4.29 l/100 km).
