Hyundai Thành Công Vietnam (HTCV) proudly introduces its new range of Hyundai Euro 5 CKD vehicles to the Vietnamese market.
The Hyundai Euro 5 range is launched with advanced technology, meticulously researched details, and a focus on bringing more value to the community, aiming for “countless green journeys.”
Environmental issues are a global concern in today’s industrialized world. It is the responsibility of humanity as a whole, and the transport industry in particular, to contribute to solutions for a greener planet. Understanding this, Hyundai Thành Công Vietnam continuously improves its technology and dedicates its efforts to researching and developing engines that meet the Euro 5 emission standards, implementing exhaust gas recirculation techniques, and not using urea, following Korean standards.
Hyundai Thành Công Vietnam introduces the Euro 5 product range in Vietnam
Not only has Hyundai Thành Công Vietnam improved its technology, but it has also created even more value for the Hyundai commercial vehicle community and the road transport industry in Vietnam. The image of dusty, polluting trucks and buses is deeply ingrained in society and sometimes creates a negative perception of drivers. Determined to break these stereotypes, the introduction of Euro 5 technology has turned drivers’ beloved vehicles into truly “green” ones.
Hyundai’s Euro 5 technology has been tested and proven to meet the Euro 5 emission standards. Implementing this technology helps control and reduce emissions, improving air quality by reducing nitrogen oxide (NOx), hydrocarbons (HC), carbon monoxide (CO), and particulate matter (PM). Therefore, Euro 5 technology is a new step forward for Vietnam’s transport industry, contributing to reducing air pollution and negative impacts on human activities, giving drivers confidence in their “green” vehicles on countless green journeys.
For this newly launched range of “green” CKD Euro 5 vehicles, Hyundai Thành Công Vietnam confidently assures its superior quality, ready to conquer all roads alongside drivers. The engines are exceptional, with superior technology meeting Euro 5 emission standards, not using urea, and optimizing vehicle operating costs and time. They deliver powerful and durable performance while reducing cylinder capacity, ensuring vehicles are both robust and fuel-efficient. Notably, the engines meet Euro 5 emission standards, minimizing the environmental impact of harmful exhaust gases.
The outstanding feature of all Hyundai Euro 5 “green” vehicles is the application of the exhaust gas recirculation principle without using urea. The operating principle of Hyundai’s engines is meticulously researched to recirculate a portion of the exhaust gas back into the intake manifold, reducing the oxygen concentration entering the engine, and thus lowering the combustion temperature in the cylinders to reduce NOx emissions. A particulate filter is then used in the exhaust gas of the engine. Therefore, the treatment of exhaust gas in the Hyundai Euro 5 engine is a closed-loop process that does not require the use of urea solutions, as is the case with some other vehicle brands in the market.
