Lexus Announces Impressive Sales Growth for the First Half of 2024
The luxury automotive brand, Lexus, has recently announced its sales performance for the first six months of 2024, and the results are impressive.
Lexus reported an 11.9% increase in sales compared to the same period last year, with a total of 167,412 vehicles delivered, up from 149,412 in 2023. This growth is attributed to the strong performance of their SUV models and electric vehicles.
The Lexus NX, RX, and TX models have been key contributors to this success, with a significant impact on the brand’s overall sales.
While the SUV segment thrived, Lexus faced some challenges in the sedan category. During the first half of 2024, only the ES model saw a slight increase in sales of 1.2%. The LS and IS sedans, on the other hand, struggled, with the LS achieving minimal growth of 0.2% and the IS experiencing an 8.7% decline.
However, the brand’s coupe models, such as the RC and LC, showed promising growth. The RC achieved an 11.8% increase in sales, reaching 941 units, while the LC saw a significant boost of 17.1%, resulting in 966 vehicles sold during the same period.
