In Vietnam, motorcycles have long been an integral part of people’s lives, and manual transmission bikes remain a top choice with a strong history and tradition.

Their popularity stems from their practical advantages such as durability, ease of use, and maneuverability on all types of terrain. However, in Vietnam, the reasons for choosing manual transmission bikes go beyond that. Even today, many young people choose these bikes as a fashion accessory, expressing their unique personalities. As a result, not only have these bikes become deeply ingrained in the lives of Vietnamese people, but the Super Cub has also come to represent history and culture, symbolizing the success and distinct class of its owner. In contrast, the Wave Alpha is associated with the energy and vibrant spirit of youth.

Honda Vietnam (HVN) introduced the Wave Alpha Classic version in 2023, which was well-received and supported by many customers.

Building on this success, on July 11, 2024, HVN launched two new designs of the Wave Alpha Classic version and a new color for the Super Cub C125. By blending classic and modern styles, these changes offer customers a diverse and fascinating retro color collection, providing more options to express their individuality. HVN aims to foster love and pride in owning a classic manual transmission bike, honoring the historical and legendary value of this bike series while attracting new generations of enthusiasts.

Super Cub C125 – Timeless Classic with a Trendy New Color, Creating an Everlasting Appeal for the “Contemporary Legend”

The Super Cub C125 body retains its iconic S-shape with graceful curves and has been upgraded with a refined finish, resulting in an elegant, classic, yet modern appearance.

The Super Cub C125 design is further enhanced by a trendy new color, offering a fresh and unique style for individuals. Inspired by the colors of the first Super Cub C100, the 2025 version introduces an entirely new Green and White color scheme. The classic green metallic paint with a pearlescent finish evokes a nostalgic yet luxurious feel, subtly intertwined with white trim and a striking red seat, creating an overall impression of sophistication, novelty, and allure.

In addition to the new color, the standard version continues to offer the classic Green-Gray color, which is subtle, artistic, and trendy. Meanwhile, the special edition retains the mysterious and premium-looking matte black color.

The Super Cub’s engine is chrome-plated and coated with a glossy paint finish, creating a luxurious and distinctive accent compared to typical manual transmission bikes. Moreover, every detail on the bike is meticulously refined to transform each Super Cub C125 into a classy companion on the road.

Beyond its legendary design, the Super Cub boasts a 125cc engine combined with the renowned durable PGM-FI electronic fuel injection system and superior convenience features befitting its “Super Manual Transmission Bike” status.

The smart key system is equipped with three functions: anti-theft alarm, vehicle location identification, and power system activation. This system not only makes it easy and convenient for users to start the bike but also provides peace of mind during use.

The Super Cub C125’s classic round headlight is fitted with modern LED technology, and the front light remains on, ensuring good visibility for the rider and enhancing the bike’s presence on the road. This helps other vehicles easily notice and avoid potential collisions.

The combination of an analog speedometer and an LCD display provides a full range of information, including speed, fuel level, distance traveled, and signal indicators, allowing the rider to monitor vital information while on the move.

To enhance the customer experience, the Super Cub C125 is equipped with a high-quality Urethane seat material with increased thickness for a comfortable riding experience.

Wave Alpha Classic Version – A Diverse Color Collection with a “Timeless Cool Factor”

The new 2025 Wave Alpha Classic version captivates with two colors, Gray and Green, characteristic of the retro color palette. These colors evoke a nostalgic charm from the past. A Wave Alpha Classic in Gray is the perfect choice for those who embrace a retro style while remaining dynamic, youthful, and fresh. On the other hand, the Green version appeals to fashionable and trendy individuals. The clever design uses only one dominant color for each Green and Gray version, with a lighter shade on the bike’s cowl, creating a striking and harmonious blend of classic and contemporary styles.

The new decal features a retro-styled “Wave Alpha” logo with a grayish hue, standing out on the bike’s body. The perfect fusion of font and decal color allows users to showcase a retro look with a modern twist. The Wave Alpha Classic is the ideal companion for the younger generation to confidently express their style and dynamism.

In addition to these distinctive colors, the Wave Alpha Classic version maintains its characteristic compact design, well-proportioned to the stature of Vietnamese people, providing convenience and flexibility for users in their daily lives.

The Wave Alpha series continues to be equipped with a durable 110cc engine, delivering excellent performance with a maximum power output of 6.12kW at 7,500 rpm and maximum torque of 8.44Nm at 5,500 rpm, while ensuring optimal fuel efficiency.

Convenience and safety features are also maintained, including a bright display on the speedometer and well-arranged information on the instrument panel. The front light remains on during operation, ensuring the best visibility for the rider. The 3-in-1 multifunction key includes an electric key, steering lock, and magnetic lock with a rust-resistant cover for easy use.

The Wave Alpha Retro and Super Cub C125 2025 models will be officially available in the market from July 23, 2024, through the nationwide system of Honda Authorized Dealers with a 3-year or 30,000 km warranty (whichever comes first) and suggested retail prices as follows:
