Land Rover retailers have announced that the 2024 Range Rover Velar is expected to arrive in Vietnam by the end of this year, with two versions sharing the P250 engine. The new model features significant upgrades in terms of equipment, while the exterior design remains largely unchanged.

Recently, several Land Rover dealers have started taking orders for the 2024 Range Rover Velar in Vietnam. Sales consultants have revealed that ten customers have already placed orders, with the first batch of vehicles expected to arrive in the country by the end of the year.

The initial launch of the Range Rover Velar 2024 in Vietnam will include two versions: the R-Dynamic SE, priced at approximately over 4.3 billion VND, and the R-Dynamic HSE, priced at approximately 4.9 billion VND. The price for subsequent batches may be higher.

The first Range Rover Velars will be equipped with the P250 engine, featuring a 2.0L turbocharged gasoline engine that delivers 247 horsepower and 365 Nm of torque.

In the future, this luxury SUV will be offered with more advanced versions, including the P340 3.0L engine that produces 335 horsepower.

Compared to its predecessor, the 2024 Range Rover Velar doesn’t showcase significant exterior upgrades. However, upon closer inspection, one may notice subtle changes in the headlight design, grille, and rear bumper. Additionally, the SUV now offers two new color options: Varesine Blue and Zadar Grey.

In contrast to the exterior, the Velar’s cabin has undergone notable changes. The highlight of the interior is the 11.4-inch curved touchscreen that controls all the vehicle’s functions. The Pivi Pro 7 system supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity and allows for over-the-air software updates via WiFi.

The Range Rover Velar 2024 boasts one of the quietest cabins in its class, thanks to the active noise cancellation technology of the Meridian 3D Surround Sound System with 17 speakers. The SUV also offers various interior upgrade options, such as Kvadrat wool-blend seats with Ultrafabrics suede and a center console trimmed in Shadow Grey Ash wood.

In Europe, the Range Rover Velar is available with six engine options: P250, P340, P400, P400e, D300, and D400. Notably, the P400e version features a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain with a 19.2 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, offering an all-electric range of approximately 64 km.
