A renowned supercar repair garage in Ho Chi Minh City has sparked excitement by recently sharing photos of an engine overhaul, preparing to restore a first-generation Lamborghini Gallardo.

It is unclear whether the car will feature engine modifications or additional aftermarket parts, but it is certain to significantly “upgrade” the Lamborghini Gallardo.

According to available information, this Lamborghini Gallardo is owned by a real estate entrepreneur, who is part of an early supercar enthusiast group that includes prominent businessman Cuong Do la.

The Lamborghini Gallardo was introduced in 2003, and this particular model is a 2004 version. Before its discontinuation in 2013, Gallardo sold 14,022 units worldwide, making it Lamborghini’s most successful supercar of that era.

The Lamborghini Gallardo is powered by a 5.0-liter V10 engine, delivering a maximum output of 493 horsepower and 510 Nm of torque. This supercar can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds and reach a top speed of 309 km/h.
