Honda Unveils the New City Hatchback in the Philippines

Honda has recently introduced the new Honda City Hatchback 2024 in the Philippines, featuring subtle exterior updates. Compared to its predecessor, it boasts a larger grille and front bumper intakes, along with a more aggressive design around the fog light housing. At the rear, the hatchback sports tail lights similar to its sedan counterpart, and the RS variant gains rear diffusers for a sportier aesthetic.

Inside, the Honda City Hatchback offers a premium experience with leather seats, a new graphic design for the 4.2-inch TFT multi-information display, and an updated infotainment system that now supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

The e:HEV variant sees the replacement of the 12V power outlet with two USB-C charging ports and a small pocket for smartphone storage behind the front seats.

Like its Thai counterpart, the Honda City Hatchback 2024 in the Philippines is equipped with the Honda Sensing suite of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). This includes adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, automatic high beams, a front vehicle departure notification, and a collision mitigation braking system.

Under the hood, the City Hatchback is powered by the familiar 1.5L DOHC i-VTEC engine, delivering 119 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque. It is paired with a CVT transmission and steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters for an enhanced driving experience.

Priced at 1.189 million PHP (approximately 515 million VND), the Honda City RS Hatchback 2024 is now available in the Philippines.
