The Porsche Panamera GTS: Engineered for Performance Enthusiasts
As the flagship model of Porsche, the Panamera 3rd generation offers a range of configuration options to cater to diverse customer needs. Following the launch of hybrid variants, Porsche has now introduced the Panamera GTS, a pure gasoline-powered model for those who favor a sportier driving experience.
According to the manufacturer, the Porsche Panamera GTS 2025 is equipped with a V8 4.0L engine that delivers 493 horsepower, an improvement of 20 horsepower over its predecessor. However, this figure pales in comparison to the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid, which boasts an impressive 771 horsepower.
The Panamera GTS can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 3.7 seconds, an improvement of 0.1 seconds, and has a top speed of 303km/h. The new generation’s sporty style is further emphasized by its new sports exhaust system.
However, the GTS’s biggest draw is its upgraded chassis, designed to provide a truly sporty driving feel. This includes air suspension as standard, a vehicle height lowered by 10mm compared to the standard Panamera, reinforced anti-roll bars, and a lower basic spring rate. Additionally, this sports sedan is fitted with an electronically controlled Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) limited-slip differential.
The Panamera GTS’s exterior remains largely unchanged from other variants but is enhanced with a sports package, featuring darkened headlight trim and black accents. Similar to the Turbo S E-Hybrid, the GTS also sports 21-inch Anthracite gray wheels with contrasting red brake calipers.
Inside, the Panamera’s cabin shares similarities with the Taycan, featuring a 12.6-inch curved digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch central touchscreen, and a 10.9-inch touchscreen for the front passenger. The GTS is fitted with sports seats, a Race-Tex fabric headliner, and a carbon fiber center console. Porsche offers two exclusive interior color packages for the GTS: Carmine Red or Slate Grey Neo.
The Porsche Panamera GTS 2025 will be available at Mxy dealerships from the end of the first quarter of this year, with a starting price of approximately $154,200 USD (nearly 4 billion VND), excluding rent and other on-road costs.
