Skoda Kodiaq Offers Stimulus Shopping Incentives to Customers
In an effort to boost sales, authorized dealers have recently launched promotional programs for the Skoda Kodiaq. As a result, customers who purchase the Skoda Kodiaq Style or Ambition variants will receive significant discounts on registration fees. The Style version now comes with a 50% discount, while the Ambition version offers a full registration fee waiver, equivalent to VND 140 million in cash.
In addition to these discounts, customers may also receive additional incentives from select dealers, including one year of car insurance worth approximately VND 14 million, two years of civil liability insurance, and various registration, inspection, and license plate expenses totaling VND 20 million. Furthermore, customers will also receive an official accessory package imported from the Czech Republic, valued at VND 55 million. Combined, the total benefits for purchasing a Kodiaq at this time amount to an impressive VND 230 million.
Currently, the Skoda Kodiaq Ambition is priced at VND 1,189 billion, while the top-of-the-line Style version has a listed price of VND 1,409 billion. After taking into account the various promotions and discounts, the actual price customers pay starts from VND 1,05 billion.
Despite these attractive offers, the Skoda Kodiaq’s price remains slightly higher than its competitors in the same segment, such as the Mazda CX-8 (VND 949 million), Hyundai Santa Fe (VND 979 million), and Kia Sorento (VND 999 million).
The Skoda Kodiaq is the largest SUV offering from the Czech brand, built on the Volkswagen Group’s MQB platform. It boasts a robust and muscular design, complemented by a host of modern safety features. The Kodiaq’s interior is packed with conveniences, including an 8-inch touchscreen display, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a D-cut steering wheel, tri-zone automatic climate control, and a panoramic sunroof.
Under the hood, the Skoda Kodiaq offered in Vietnam has two engine options. The high-end variant is equipped with a 2.0 TSI Turbo engine that produces 180 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque between 1,400 and 3,940 rpm. This model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 207 km/h. It comes with a 7-speed wet-clutch automatic transmission, steering wheel-mounted shift paddles, and a 4×4 drive system with multiple driving modes.
The other engine option is a 1.4 TSI Turbo unit that generates 150 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque between 1,500 and 3,500 rpm. This variant is paired with a 6-speed wet-clutch automatic transmission.
