Aston Martin Unveils the Valiant: A Limited-Edition Supercar

Aston Martin has revealed its newest creation, the Valiant, a limited-edition supercar based on the Valour. With only 38 units produced, the Valiant carries a price tag of $2.5 million.

The British supercar brand shared that the idea for the Valiant came from none other than Formula 1 driver for the Alpine team (a subsidiary of Aston Martin) Fernando Alonso. The two-time F1 champion will also be the proud owner of the first Valiant in the world.

The Valiant, much like the Valour, boasts a striking design with classic round headlights, a clamshell hood, and the iconic Aston Martin horseshoe grille. The rear features a large spoiler and taillights inspired by the Valkyrie. Below, airflow-optimizing vents enhance stability at high speeds.

The 21-inch carbon fiber wheels are paired with carbon-ceramic brakes, measuring 16.1 inches in the front and 14.1 inches in the rear.

To keep weight to a minimum, the Valiant is fitted with a 3D-printed rear frame, titanium torque tubes, and lightweight lithium-ion batteries. The standard suspension has been replaced with Adaptive Multi-Plane (AMP) dampers, an ultra-rare feature that Aston Martin claims can “simultaneously adjust each control valve to one of 32 damping curves in less than six milliseconds.” This technology is typically found only in top-tier sports cars such as the Ford Mustang GTD, Ferrari Purosangue, and IndyCars.

Inside, the Valiant features a roll cage, Recaro Podium sports seats, and four-point harnesses. In true Aston Martin fashion, the interior is adorned with carbon fiber accents. The engineers have also improved the gearshift feel with a new, Valiant-exclusive weighted shift knob.

The Valiant is a product of the Aston Martin Q personalization department and is powered by a 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine, delivering 735 horsepower and 753 Nm of torque. This represents a 30 horsepower increase over the Valour. The power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission.
