Peugeot’s Subsidiary Brand Launches the All-New DAB 1 Alpha Electric Motorcycle

Only 400 units of this limited-edition model will be produced, each priced at a premium of 14,900 Euros (approximately 380.7 million VND).

DAB 1 Alpha is manufactured in Beaulieu-Mandeure and designed in Bayonne, France. Its compact design stands out with a seamless seat and tail, reminiscent of the Husqvarna Svartpilen and Vitpilen models.

DAB 1 Alpha is a unique electric motorcycle with a removable battery. This feature allows for easy repair and replacement of the battery when needed.

The DAB 1 Alpha is powered by an electric motor that delivers between 14.8 and 34.2 horsepower and 395 Nm of torque. This is paired with a 72-volt lithium-ion battery, with a maximum power of 7.1 kWh, providing a range of up to 150 km on a single charge.

The motorcycle utilizes a DAB gearbox and a carbon Gates drive belt, enabling it to reach a top speed of 130 km/h. According to DAB, the 1 Alpha takes just 3 hours to fully charge using a Type 2 charger.

The electric motorcycle is also equipped with Brembo disc brakes, featuring four-piston calipers on the front wheel and a single-piston caliper on the rear. Both wheels are fitted with an anti-lock braking system (ABS). The front suspension comprises upside-down forks, while the rear features a custom mono-shock absorber. Both wheels are fitted with 17-inch spoked rims.

Additional features include a front mudguard, carbon fiber frame protection, Alcantara leather seat and storage compartment, and a 2.8-inch LCD display.

DAB 1 Alpha offers four riding modes: Eco, Standard, Sport, and Nitrous, along with a reverse mode.

Currently, the DAB 1 Alpha electric motorcycle is only available in the European market.
